had a very disappointing experience at Butler Coffee.
From the moment I ordered, I felt dismissed and unwelcome by the staff member at the register. (Easter European lady with overly tint brows) I greeted her politely, but the interaction felt cold and unfriendly
I ordered the chia seed pudding, and it took longer than I expected to arrive. When it was served, no spoon was provided. I asked for one and was directed to an open tray of shared cutlery. Since I wasn't comfortable using utensils that any other customer could have handled, I asked for a plastic spoon instead. I was given a plastic fork, so I had to get up yet again and ask another staff member for the correct utensil
When I finally started eating, the pudding had large clumps of chia seeds stuck together, so I asked for a refund and left.
The food wasn't my main issue as I could have ask for it to possibly be remade but it was the customer service. I left feeling unwelcome and disappointed.
Everyone can have an off day, but customers should still be treated with courtesy and made to feel welcome.

restroom needs to be more clean
Very kind staff, the italian guy was the most helpfull and kind. The drinks and food were like home and as and italian the espresso was wonderfull
Chocolate Crossiant!!!
Nothing really wrong with the place but it simply is not good. I had a tiramisu cookie (creative! but too sweet and underbaked, did not finish) and an espresso drink (prepared well but they need to buy beans that taste good for the drinks to taste good). I would recommend a randomly selected cafe in a two block radius over this one.

my family and i frequently visit new york, and are very picky when it comes to food. we have never gone back anywhere more than once for breakfast… except for here! the food is insanely fresh and wholesome, making us feel like we were eating homemade food. i highly recommend the granola parfait, with in-house made granola. will definitely be back!
