With elegant, speakeasy-style décor, plush seating, and signature Mediterranean-inspired drinks, it serves as both a post-work retreat and intimate event venue. Boasting creative cocktails, light bites, and tiered seating, Célon blends exotic ambiance with sophisticated nightlife for a chic and memorable evening.

Bar Celon offers a romantic atmosphere with a vibe perfect for couples or anyone seeking an intimate setting. The cocktails are thoughtfully prepared, showcasing quality and creativity. Service stands out as the staff are responsive and attentive to guests’ needs. The only drawback is the higher price point, which might make it less appealing for those on a budget. Overall, Bar Celon deserves a solid 4 out of 5 stars, a lovely place for a special night out, where quality justifies most of the cost.

It's been a long time since I've rarely been impressed with a physical space. but this place really transported me from the moment I walked down the staircase and into the lounge. You can find more interior picture from other reviews, but from the way the music echoes and reverberates off the walls, the shadows casted on the walls from the light fixtures, the layout and patterns of the seating areas, the delicious food and libations, I thought I stepped back into time and onto the set of Casablanca.

The place was good, I wanted to go because of the architecture and morrocan inspired atmosphere. The experience was not as good as I expected we were 2 of 6 people in the entire place and it was pretty quiet. The bartender was nice and experienced so no knock there.

Brought my client for drinks, perfect ambiance for that, our nook table was spaced a bit away from others so we were able to easily have a conversation, drinks were very good and the service was attentive.
Celon let us book but wasn't even open when we got there, so we had to find somewhere random to get a last minute reservation. A joke.
Amazing drinks, superb staff. Thank you

Don't tell anyone else, but secretly a fave local in Midtown. Luxe without attitude. Specialty cocktails you actually want to order.

My colleague and I had a deeply disappointing experience at Célon Bar & Lounge due to the behavior of the female host at the entrance on April 3, 2025 at approximately, 5:30pm. Not only were we denied entry without a clear explanation, but her tone and demeanor were shockingly rude and dismissive. It felt discriminatory, and the interaction gave strong impressions of racial bias. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially in a hospitality setting. I hope the management addresses this issue seriously.

The host was very accommodating - we arrived an hour before our reservations. Sushi was delicious and wait staff were friendly and helpful!

Horrific experience. The host was condescending and beyond unprofessional. His comments were outright rude when asked for a WiFi that was not working he said “I’m not in charge of Apple”. There are two waitresses for the entire place so the food and drinks take a very very long time to come out. The waitress's work very hard and are really nice but unfortunately they just cannot handle the amount of people and the place is very understaffed. We came 25 minutes before our reservation and were seated. Our reservation was for 5:30 and we sat at 4:40. It took a long time to get two glasses of wine and by the time three rolls of sushi came it was approximately 5:30. At 6:08 on the dot the host with a disgusting attitude asked us to leave as he has a next reservation coming at 6:30. We were shocked as we were still waiting for an appetizer we ordered and wine. We said ok then cancel our food which he proceeded to do and gave us a check for 250$ not including the tip. We left the place hungry looking for a restaurant to sit down and eat in and have a glass of wine. The experience was extremely unpleasant and border line degrading. I spoke to the host and he said fine if you want to stay stay but I refuse to spend my money in a place that treats its patrons in such a disgraceful way. I spoke to a manager and am waiting for the response of a general manager. The host is an embarrassment to the bar and we will never ever patron this place again. It is a holiday time and there are a lot of tourists around. I truly hope that people that are not New Yorkers do not judge NY based on this place and the service of the host.
