This spot is super cute & chill. I live around the area and WFH on some days , so have been looking for a solid cafe on those days.
Love the atmosphere, service & drinks although if you’re looking to work remotely, they are a bit stingy with the WiFi. Only giving a code per hour. Pretty tough to lock in cus you’re timing yourself ! So I headed over to Maman on 25th.
Other than that, cool spot for sure

Very cute cafe/bar with some outside seating on warm days. The bartender working when I went was nice and can whip you up something off-menu as well. The bartender’s signature mocktail was delicious.
This space also serves as an event venue with decent pricing and a large storage area. However, the AC is a bit lacking if packed on a hot day.
We stopped by this café to check out the atmosphere and grab a coffee—it’s a café, after all. The menu board clearly listed a latte for $6, so that’s what I ordered. After paying with no additions, I noticed they had charged me more than the listed price. When asked, the staff gave multiple excuses—first saying it was “because we add milk” Seriously? A Latte is clearly with milk. The staff are ready to argue at any given time then claiming that prices had been changed, though nothing on the menu or in the café reflected this.
Not only was this misleading, but the rude staff handled it terribly. Instead of apologizing or honoring the listed price, they told us we could either take a full refund or pay the higher, unlisted price. No apology, no attempt to make things right, and certainly no latte. We chose the refund and left in disgust.
This felt dishonest and unprofessional—like they’re hoping tourists, which are their main customers (and locals like us) won’t notice the price difference. Absolutely horrible service, and we left with a very bad impression. Definitely not a place I’d recommend or return to.

Really nice cafe & bar with tables for sitting with computer! I got a dirt chai latte with oat milk & my friend got a creme martini, both were very delicious! The staff did an amazing job! Thank you!!

$10 Latin Cocktails all Thursday. This place is like a needle in a haysyack.
The area has a heavy drug abuse rating and majority bars upon investigation, are very dark and lack sunlight ! EVEN IN THE SUMMER !!!
So this bar offered some comfort while exploring lower west Manhattan.
No table service.
Food and snacks very breakfasty.
No seating at bar, but tropical feel inside.

Café-Flor Bar 21 is the perfect blend of chic and cozy. With its artful interiors, soft lighting, and relaxed music, it’s a great spot for both a quiet solo coffee or an evening drink with friends. I tried their signature cocktail and a small plate of olives and cheese both were beautifully presented and full of flavor. The staff is warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance strikes that rare balance between sophisticated and welcoming. A lovely place to unwind after a long day.

The latte that I tried here was, quite honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had. It tasted great, and the milk was so creamy! It was truly incredible! I would definitely come here if I’m ever in NYC again.

Stopped by with a friend for breakfast and got an iced latte and iced matcha. They served both in cups meant for hot drinks. Because of the condensation, the cup started to soften and the black coating rubbed off on my hands and clothes (see photos).
The matcha was tasty and the barista was friendly, but the packaging for cold drinks definitely needs to be improved.

Was more of a fun place to work late and have good coffee and drinks. Got some really good caffeinated drunk work here a few times but now they have a no laptop policy at some times now and it’s not as good a place to vibe *einstein blep* #infallableEinstein

We visited this beautiful coffee shop on a Saturday afternoon.
The place is beautiful with so much plants.
However I was extremely disappointed with the service and the matcha latte.
But mostly I never experienced this rudeness before and never expected a server to kick me out because I had my laptop open on a Saturday !!
I am surprised and shocked with this reaction. I wouldn’t recommend this place. You guys need to work on your client service skills. Asking a client to leave with such rudeness is shocking and inacceptable.

The café is undeniably beautiful, and I was looking forward to a peaceful moment there. Unfortunately, that peace was broken by a very disheartening scene. A server approached my partner and told her she had to leave because her laptop was on the table.
While I am a strong supporter of preserving the conversational and social atmosphere of coffee shops, the enforcement of this policy felt completely out of place as the café was entirely empty. There was no one to disturb.
The interaction lacked any warmth or understanding. I believe that people give life to a café, and this can be done through lively chats, quiet reading, or even thoughtful work.
A little more empathy and situational awareness would have made all the difference. Sadly, we left with a bitter taste.

Not the most affordable place for a drink in the area, but it is one of the most inviting cafes in Chelsea.
They offer a wide selection of coffee and alcoholic drinks in a comfortable/eclectic setting. I ordered a matcha (which was good), but forget about the product. I would 100% come back just to sit in this lovely, free-flowing space.
This is the perfect place to get some work done during the day or have a drink with friends at night. There is plenty of room for bigger groups which is appreciated.
