Great food!
Randomly popped in here on Wednesday night, just before they closed shop. Fun vibe, friendly, patient staff - and the food was great. Excellent value for this part of Manhattan, as well. I'd go back in a second.
Food is good and service was good from the dark skinned gentleman.
I was charged an additional $4 for a happy hour drink. But the lady server told me that it was because I was supposed to ask for the happy hour price, and then when I pointed out the my friends did not do that. She made another excuse.
All together decent but that definitely left a bad taste. No reason lie or manipulate your customers.

El Coco offers $5 margaritas, but they are tiny. The tacos are just okay, and the food is so-so. The service can be hit or miss, but the new drinks are delicious. It is advisable to make a reservation due to its popularity. The tortillas with steak fajitas are good, but the steak can be too big and chewy. The queso with chips is runny, more like a cheese beverage. Overall, the food is generally average.
