Super good food, we had the lobster roll. Tasty and served in a decent quantity. I had it with fries, my husband with salad. We ordered a Californian red wine, the only on the menu, I would have expected better ones. As Europeans we did not go for French wines. Very loud but great atmosphere.

A very friendly and welcoming restaurant in a great location in Greenwich Village, with perfect food. My steak and fries were excellent and the grilled chicken was perfect. The bartender was very friendly and the service was professional and attentive… but it lacked a little empathy and genuine warmth to make it feel like a real French brasserie... Still, a very good place to eat!

I had dinner at Café Cluny (2nd time and won't be the last!) and went with the salmon and the chocolate cake.The salmon was excellent — perfectly cooked with beautifully crispy skin and tender, flavorful flesh. The chocolate cake was the stuff dreams are made of.
The staff made the experience seem effortless but still thoughtful and intentional. With two small children I don't make it out as often as I used to so the bar is always high. Cafe Cluny beyond...
