Enjoyed the house band
This is not what Bob wondered about. Just a cover band using big names like Jimi to lure people in. Nothing original, and the bar is garbage. Avoid.
Cafe Wha is the GOAT of all live music venues in NYC.
I have an incredible time every time I go there.
I love how when I walk by or go downstairs to listen to music that I always receive a warm welcome from Forte at the door.
He really makes the experience so much better for me and my guests.
Forte is an Icon on MacDougal Street in NYC.
The band is magic, to recharge , let go and have fun. The staff is great and the ambiance electric
Loved this place. Thank you for the amazing service, Briana!
Fantastic live music, good atmosphere, an absolute must for anyone in the area or passing through
We went to a random live show here and the performance was amazing! Hidden talents right here, food was good as well. Recommended.
most horrible place. horrible managers , bad set up to the venue , rats and roaches , music is bad and same every night , servers are on drugs , fire hazards and just expensive
Great bar, amazing atmosphere ! 🥃❤️
Used to love this place, but I went last night and it's not the same anymore. I appreciate the musicians but the quality of the whole experience clearly dropped several notches. I ordered a non-alcoholic drink with no ice and they gave me a small glass only 1/5 full of sugar juice, I call that drink a 15$ insult. It's overly packed in there, can't even move around. People don't respect the musicians, they talk loudly the entire performance and it's not a pleasant experience anymore. The house band changed as well, I don't think I'll be going back.

We got the tip from a real New Yorker, booked both sets on his advice and were thrilled. The house band (25 musicians, 5-6 of whom perform in the evening, depending on who has the time and desire) is world class, the song selection is great, from Tina Turner to A-ha to Lady Gaga and Jay-Z, and the atmosphere is of course great. You pay a music contribution of €10 per set and have a minimum consumption. If you take dinner with you, even young people quickly come up with the $25 that is expected. But the great atmosphere puts you in such a great mood that the beer tastes particularly good. The evening won't be cheap, but it will be worth every nickel!
Do yourself a favour, take your wife or friends and step into music history at Cafe Wha?, a legendary Greenwich Village institution. This iconic music venue and restaurant delivers an unforgettable experience.
We went to a concert of Popeii Floyd group that does covers of Pink Floyd.
The place is small so you are just a few meters from the musicians. They provide you a table and seatings. A note that is not informed when you buy the tickets is that you need to purchase 2 items: drinks or food.
Very good shows
If you come 2 you get very bad seats
You can't see anything
Very good music
