This place is unique! It’s completely unpretentious and inclusive! A guaranteed, rockin good time, Cafe Wha Is absolutely beloved by my local friends and out of towners alike. This basement night club has the rock history - Jimmy Hendricks and Janis Joplin played here! It is intimate - you are steps away from Cafe Wha House Band - the best damn band NYC! The whole place rocks out and the people are dancing in the aisles.

We love Cafe Wha?! Every time we pass through NY (our former home,) we try to visit. Once again had the best time last night. The band is so unbelievably talented and the place was rockin'! It is THE place I recommend to all my music-loving friends when they come to NY. In addition to the amazing Cafe Wha band, everyone who works there is amazing (and how they manage to get through the dancing bodies without spilling is quite a miracle.)

What a great cafe this is in Greenwich Village.... the band was so amazing as we were the last to leave!!
They stay open til 4am!!
We watched a band called Elan & the union and ended up partying with them!
What a fun night this was I would highly recommend anyone to go here what a great place! Great memories are made here!
