Such a chill place to hang out. They have pastries and pre-packaged meals. We went for the Boba (Bubble Tea) and got some onigiri. Wish there was a place like this where I live.

I love the food. The staff is rude to the point of mean

Came in and grabbed a few quick breakfast items that were all delicious!

The green tea ice cream is why you come here. Also the Tarot boba is clutch. Fried chicken is alright too to top it off. Would come back

Perfect bakers place that also has bento boxes and sushi alike selections they do a lot of hot and cold drinks and also serve ice cream. Great for a light day.

Best soft serve ever!! Love this place super friendly gentleman (tall Japanese gent) always there on Saturdays to make my matcha black sesame swirl soft serve. One of the best hidden dessert gems in nyc.

Lady worker was very rude and I asked why she said “it’s okay I’m usually not here”I sure miss Zaiya

Their Japanese bread are outstanding in the area. I will visit the place specifically when I want to have some sweet and soft bread. The pudding was also great! Just like the one I had in Japan.

The most underrated spot for cream puffs and chess cookies (a bit too much vanilla essence of late). You guys should focus on making A LOT of cream puffs because they are to-die for. And you guys run out of time by 3pm. The guy behind the counter (he likes to draw) is quiet, but very helpful and efficient.

Love their bakes! One of the reasons why I'm fat, can't stop eating their yummy carbs lol

Don't go there, they won't let you sit inside for more than 45 minutes

This used to be one of my favorite midtown lunch spots when it was called Cafe Zaiya. The quality has declined since it changed names, and I assume hands.

Nice bakery to buy your Japanese breads and desserts! All of the breads and goods here are delicious!Location: It is located near Grand Central Terminal. The bakery is hidden tho, but if you find it, you want to buy everything. The interior, has a great display of pastries and breads, they have bento boxes too. Due to covid, they don’t allow seating inside.Service: no interaction with the cashier, just buy and go.Food: Everything here is delicious! I tried their breads but not their bento boxes yet. Soon! COFFEE BUTTER ROLL: omg this good, fluffy and taste like coffee, perfect for cup of coffee or tea, heat 10 seconds in the microwave! CHEESE BUN: this is good too! The bun has cream cheese inside which is very delicate and smooth. CHOCO BUN: same as cheese bun but instead there is chocolate filling inside. ALMOND COOKIE: this is my favorite! Crunchy and toasted almonds are great combination! I can eat the whole container in one seating!Price rating: 5/10, not that expensive to be honest for the goodness you get.Been here multiple times and I just love their breads! Specially the almond cookie!

The name has change from cafe zaiya to Tomiz and the service goes from great to terrible. I live in queens and I always go in the city to grab their soft serve ice cream. Today when i went in to grab 3 ice creams, i was told they can only serve it in a cup. So i said ok, you can give it in a cup but i still want the ice cream cone that comes with it and she said it will be extra 50 cents for the cone. I said it is not my fault u can’t serve the ice cream in the cone, but i am willing to take it in the cup and yet she will charge me extra for the regular cone that comes with ice cream. She give me excuse that weather is so hot that the ice cream is too soft on the cone. I missed my beautiful looking soft serve on the cone. Service sucks. I will never go there again.

Walked in to an empty cafe. I said hello and was greeted with a blank stare. That says everything. Walked right back out.
