Was excited to try this place as I think was one of the first vegan restaurants in New York! I also have their holiday cookbook. I had the seitan Cuban sandwich with side salad. Great texture on the seitan and was served with a spicy sauce. Side salad had no dressing or seasoning, so not very appetising to eat. Enjoyed it but was a little underwhelmed given how iconic this place is. Perhaps need to return to try something from the dinner menu.
Love the food here, it’s always good, delicious and fast. Used to be my fav vegan spot when it was uptown. Right near my Mom’s always visit when I’m in town, soups, desserts and specials. The polenta fries are delicious 🤤
We had a very good salad- Grilled Kale plus a side of salmon added was great! We also had the seitan dumplings, they were good, but not the best dumplings I’ve ever had. The dessert was delicious! Choc-PB Bliss lived up to the name! Good portions, but very expensive. Restaurant is cute, staff was friendly and helpful! Updated from previous review on 2025-08-08
