Ate here with a friend visiting from overseas. My food wasn’t as warm as I would’ve liked but okay enough. What makes me rate this two stars is the fact that they charged us gratuity despite us only being a party of 2 and NO indication of this policy on their thoroughly outlined menu.

The waiters very kind and helpful.. the food delicious. Lasagna excellent! The employee at the entrance very polite in contrast to the manager Valentino in the name who was very rude and not at all helpful. Shame because the food was really delicious.

If you are Italian and want to be fooled then this is the right place for you, I was so disgusted by the food served to me that I left the dishes on the table and left without even tasting them, even a simple Coca-Cola (which I asked) I don't know what it was changed to, it was a super sugary brown drink poured into a glass with ice that I only dared to taste.. In short, in my opinion, it cannot be called "Beautiful House", I think the more suitable name is "Scam House" $88 spent without eating and a ruined day!!

Owner or employee would not stop aggressively and repeatedly personally advertising outside restaurant. Would not stop asking customers (3+ people) to vouch that the restaurant is good to get us to dine there. Very rude and in my face. Food was ok but overshadowed by the inconsiderate customer service.

I’ve got a warning for you about this place. We had a really bad experience there. Two of my kids got food poisoning and vomiting after eating there. The food was way too expensive and tasted terrible, and the service was awful. This is definitely the most expensive and worst pizza and pasta I’ve ever had.
The service is poor, your food will be dropped on your table and hardly one smile from any staff member. The food was pretty decent and quickly delivered, but nothing to rave about. Solid 7.5/10.

Very very very disappointed in my experience here as I came to New York specifically to visit this restaurant among a couple other places.
I waited a while for a server but when I finally got mine he was very kind and attentive. I had a plan to order an appetizer, a cocktail, and entree, a glass of wine, and a dessert. But the atmosphere was so poor and I waited so long I just ordered an entree with a glass of red so I could hurry out of there.
I ordered the chicken parmigiana. Food presentation was not well at all; sauce was all over my place and I was disappointed in the thin pieces of meat. However the portion size of the overall entree was decent. The marinara sauce is really really good.
Took a long time to get my check but did eventually get it.
Overall I’d say good food. I thought I dodged a bullet by coming on a Sunday over a Saturday but service was still meh despite not having many people. I will however return because I have a feeling this place is really good all around and maybe I just need to experience it again.
