One of my favorite restaurants in New York City. The food is delicious and authentic, the drinks are creative and flavorful, the service is always great, and the space is beautiful.

Went on a Saturday night with a friend and had such a good experience. We ordered the ceviche and another fish appetizer marinated in black pepper, both super fresh and flavorful. They have a great wine selection and the staff was really attentive without being overbearing. I had the steak tacos and my friend got the branzino entrée. Didn't grab photos, but everything was solid. Definitely not your cheap Mexican spot, but absolutely worth the price. We'd go back for...

My overall experience at Casa Carmen was good, however, I found the food underwhelming. Guacamole and chips were delicious, but the lamb tacos and chicken enchilada were under seasoned. Not what I expected from a Mexican restaurant. The margaritas were very good, so if I returned, I would sit at the bar.
