What a find! Walking through NYC and feeling a bit weary amd hungry on a snowy Sunday afternoon, we came to find Cassidy's. Great location, a little away from all the crowded avenues and tourist attractions, it had an entrance that looked like what you expect a pub to have, a very warm and inviting bar area, and welcoming staff that found us a good, big table - perfect for 4 or 6 or a few more people. The food was very good: big, crips steak fries, a hearty onion soup, some 'ok' mozzarella sticks and phenomenal chicken tenders (light panko crust - beautiful), with the last 2 having a very fresh and delicous mini salad as side. The staff was welcoming, attentive and really on point.

About what you expect from a midtown pub. Aggressively loud music on a Tuesday. Food was worse than expected - had the tuna melt. Was pretty disappointing

Great venue. Very Irish and home from home inside. Irish bar staff were super friendly. Usual beers and cocktails available. Plenty of seating and prices are reasonable. Great music and excellent venue.

Fran was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly, accommodating, and had such warm energy with great conversation skills. The food was honestly pretty mid, but Fran’s service completely made up for it and turned the experience around. She’s genuinely someone who made our New York trip memorable and such a credit to the place! Thank you so much !!

We ended up here after having horrible service from the manager at Angelos pizza because of our party size on 12/30. When we first walked in we almost turned around because it looked a little too much like a bar and we had 5 kids but the manager (I believe) at this place was amazing! We were a party of 8 and he didn’t even hesitate to seat us. I told him my daughter’s name was Cassidy and that’s how we found this place and he even brought her over a souvenir after we sat down! Service was top notch, food was quick and delicious and the atmosphere was so festive being decorated for Christmas. We really enjoyed this place overall and were so glad we stopped in! We’ll keep this on our places to return list for our next trip to nyc!

We visited in early December on a red eye bus trip. The trip was nothing short of a disaster for various reasons but our trip to Cassidys Pub was wonderful! Great food and drinks - the night we were there they were playing great 80s music (not sure if this is all the time or a special occasion but loved it!) HIGHLY recommend this place!

Really nice pub located in Midtown Manhattan. There is an ample variety of beers, but you do need to go to the bar to order (I am unsure if you're sitting on a table there is table service as the 3 times I was there they were full and I had to stand). The Guinness is very good. As for food, I am a big Nachos fan, and they nachos, albeit mid-size, were delicious.
Fran was fantastic! We had a group of 6 and she was so attentive and friendly. Also loved the Christmas decor!!

Me and my family love Cassidy’s. We go to NY every year for Christmas. This year we had a group of 23 and Seamus was able to accommodate us with a reservation. Our waiter was Joe C. ,who was great. It’s not easy waiting on a large group of people, but he was super patient and kind.
