About Shinjuku Ramen

Shinjuku Ramen is a cozy spot that offers a quiet solo meal or a family gathering. The lunch deal and ramen set are affordable, and the food is consistently amazing. The staff is friendly, polite, and respectful, creating a warm atmosphere. The mapo tofu is a must-try, with perfect texture. This restaurant is a great choice for a reliable and enjoyable dining experience, with excellent dishes and a welcoming staff.

The ramen selection includes a duck-based option, though some customers found it lacking in flavor and seasoning. The beef skewers were also noted as being of low quality and chewy. However, the tonkotsu ramen was praised for its flavorful and rich broth, and the takoyaki balls were a hit, though they can be quite hot. The yuzu soda was also highly recommended.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is described as a "hidden place" with a cool vibe, and the staff is friendly. Customers have enjoyed their dining experiences, with one reviewer stating that the food is "spot on amazing" and the place has a great vibe, even when it's crowded.

I stopped by for a Ramen lunch with some extra noodles, the spicy taste was really good! It is about 5 minutes of walk to my hotel, very convenient!

The mackerel plate and agedashi tofu were PHENOMENAL and portions were perfect for us. Relatively inexpensive too but tasted VERY high quality. The staff was so kind and gave us plenty of time to order and we didn’t feel rushed in the slightest. They even offered to charge my aunts phone. The food came out super fast as well and it was very pleasing to the eye. The atmosphere was beautiful and quiet and the wooden utensils and cups were a great touch. So was the adorable...read full review

Great food, and the staff is attentive. Im a fan of makrel sets, and they do a good job here. Only improvement would be if they charcol grilled the fish :) they had a macha cake that was light and flavorful.
