Honestly, a wonderful experience dining here. Nongal was an amazing host, he was very polite and his recommendations were all amazing. Some of the best Italian food I have in the area. Hidden gem. I recommend the Branzino, The Rigatoni Vodka, and Almond cake. Thank me later.

The food here was amazing!! We got the Polpetti, rigatoni and vodka sauce, and the branzino and everything was spectacular. Nongal was an amazing server and we were super happy with how attentive he was. Drinks were great too! We will definitely be back.

Nice atmosphere, but this was the worst salad of my life (the “cucina” one, with olives removed). I wish I had a photo, but it was some water-like, poorly chopped lettuce with a few random pieces of tomatoes and a few huge pieces of red onion. The chicken was SO bland - no chance of being saved by the salad dressing.

For the price, would expect much higher quality. I couldn’t even finish it despite being hungry because it tasted like nothing. Would not return.

Catrina Cucina is an absolute standout in the Hudson Yards area. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm, welcoming service and a cozy yet modern ambiance that sets the tone for a memorable meal. Very convienient location that's near the luxiourous Hudson Yards area.

Many compliments to the Chef for the amazing food and to Aleksandra for her exceptional care and hospitality. I ordered the Artichoke Salad, Fettuccine Nera, and Branzino. Everything was super delicious, and the portions were perfect. I cleared the plates with no leftovers! 😝

We stayed here and absolutely loved the hotel, but this bar/restaurant was ridiculous. If you look at specialty drinks on the menu they are reasonably priced, but if you order a vodka cranberry they are charging $30 a drink for a double. You have to order a double or you just get charged $17 for a cranberry juice. Save your money and walk across the street to the liquor store.

At dinner time the food does not represent Italian dishes at all. They have made an inappropriate and extremely spicy adaptation.
The menu is limited. Excess seafood. The portions of the dishes are disproportionate, the rissotto is scarce, and some of the pastas are abundant. The same at breakfast, the avocado toast comes with a single small piece of toast, with excess spice, while the ciabatta is enough for two people.
The service is not good. They don't make suggestions or recommendations regarding the menu and you end up spending more money on dishes that aren't to your liking or you end up hungry. In general they are not prepared.

The cost is excessive for what it claims to be and is not.
I repeat, from Italian, nothing.
And I talked about this with the girl. That he spoke to his manager and did not take responsibility for his failures.
A shame, because in general the fact that the hotel has a restaurant is very advantageous. But in this case, Catria is not a good option, even though it has a very warm and comfortable atmosphere.

Shake, because you should be food for the hotel has a challenge but not like Catria.
Good atmosphere, comfortable. That's it.

This was the worst food I had while I’m NYC. I took my mother out and we dined here expecting it to be a nice restaurant. I didn’t realize from the pictures that it was in the basement of a hotel…

It looked like a cafeteria. The server was sweet. She brought out bread and some kind of bland dip for it. I ordered the pasta with squid and my mother ordered the lasagna.

My dish came out and I tasted the squid first and it tasted almost rubbery: the worst part of the dish was that the entire plate was extremely spicy….so much so that I couldn’t even eat it. It felt like the chef dumped a whole pile of crushed red pepper in. I love spicy food but this was unbearable.

My mother got lasagna and it was also spicy and as she took the layers apart it looked like crushed peppers in hers. It was either that or the meat in it was extremely greasy. It looked like crushed taco meat.

My mother picked hers apart and I ordered a flat pizza….. you expect to eat a nice dinner before a show only to have to order a flatbread. That pasta dish was nearly $30 and I couldn’t believe it when it came out.

After the show my mother got back to the room and was so sick all night. She threw up and it was grease. I never saw her so sick. The next day was nearly ruined because this food was horrendous. I would not recommend anyone go here. It is far from the photos online. It’s in a dark basement that looks like a storage room and the food is terrible.

Andres Narvaez was the best server! Patient and passionate about the menu. He recommended me the Ribeye steak and the food was incredible. I’ll definitely be back as a regular. Your business is incredible! Shoutout to Andres.
