Cellar Dog is a fun underground bar with a playful atmosphere. It offers a good selection of drinks at a fair price. The highlight is its live jazz concerts, with wonderful jazz musicians, especially on weekends. This place is a giant underground playground, and it's got it all: live jazz, pool tables, ping pong, arcade games, and shuffle boards. Lots of people inside listening to music and playing board games. The staff and security people are kind. It's a perfect spot to enjoy an evening alone or with others. Worth visiting while in New York.
