Our server was absolutely outstanding . I wish I could remember her name. The food was the best meal we ate in New York. I ambiance was perfect. The entire group was impressed and are still talking about it a week later. Would recommend to anyone.
The ambiance and space are great for a restaurant in the city, specially in the Village. The food was delicious and the fried rice had a lot of seafood. The Portuguese fried chicken was surprisingly spicy. The filet mignon was perfect and so was the duck. Service was very good. But eating out in the city is getting way too expensive, but this is a nice treat. The dumplings were delicious too.
Always looking for new NY food adventures and this was extraordinary! From the moment you enter the vibe is relaxed, cool, friendly, romantic. Softly lit with cozy booths, mirrors and red accents--it has a speakeasy feel. Every dish we tried was flavorful, and a new take on an old favorite. Dumplings were delish, the turnip pancake was light yet with wonderful crunch. They were out of the signature Peking duck (bummer) but the duck sliders were extraordinary, moist with pillowy...
