Delightful time with a group of eight, who shared an assortment of dishes. Don't be put off by the goofy name (for the national dish of Georgia, Khachapuri) and to try other things on the menu.

Restaurant was nice and clean. Service was good. Food portions were nice open exposed kitchen.

On a recommendation from my barber who cuts in the area, my husband and I went to Cheeseboat for dinner. It was incredibly delicious. We started with a red wine flight served in a cool tiered holder, and enjoyed the various Georgian wines. Our appetizer was the meat crepes served with sour cream, which were great. My husband had a fig, prosciutto and honey cheese boat (think Georgian calzone), which he loved. I had the lobio, a red bean stew served with pickled veggies and bread. This was really good on a cold winter night. My only criticism is our waiter was a bit absent and never really checked in on us, just delivered our food. Overall, I highly recommend going here if you have a chance.

Great service, staff is kind and knowledgeable about the food. The food was some of the best I had in NY. Would be the type of place I'd go to again and again.

Great food, inferior service. Ordered mains around 9pm (only 3 of the ~25 tables had people) and mains were “10 minutes out” at 10:30. Was refunded on the main. Salad was exceptional.

We had a great time. Service was superb especially bc for some reason our open table reservation did not show up in their system and they were packed but the server was like very kind and found a spot for us.

I had a wonderful experience at cheeseboat. The food was great, it was quiet, and the service was wonderful. This place is great for you want to go for a quick and casual dinner. The kompot is imported from Georgia, we ordered the plum and it was very good. The original khachapuri is very flavorful but the portion size was small compared to the ones I've had in Europe. The dumplings were also very good especially with the green sauce. The dumplings come as 6 to a plate. All in all the food is quite authentic, I just think the khachapuri should be bigger. Definitely a must try especially if you haven't had Georgian food before.

First experience with Georgian food. So many interesting flavors to choose from. So happy we tried the Kartvelian Salad. The Ukrainian Borscht was great on a cold night. I even enjoyed 3 of the 4 red Georgian wines I tried. If you have a slightly adventurous palate, try this place!

I have tried a few Georgian restaurants in the city. This one is by far the best one. Very cozy atmosphere with delicious food. Khinkalli and kebabs were amazing. I got to test a Cognac with the staff that was recently imported from Georgia. Amazing people, amazing place and amazing food.

I love this place! Have been here 2X in a week. I had never had Geogian food before. The food is unique and wonderful. The cheese boats are so so so good. I was so tempted to have 2 of them! Also, can't recommend the eggplant appetizer enough. Service is great and friendly and it's well priced. Just go!

Absolutely delicious! It was my first time tasting Georgian cuisine and it will not be my last. We split 3 dishes between 2 and it was plenty. We got a salad, dumplings, and a cheeseboat. The highlight of the meal was their Georgian Lemonade - peach flavor. Amazing!

Absolutely love this place! Always a hit with out of towners as well. The cheeseboat, dumplings, and Shkmeruli Chicken (Cornish game hen simmered in a garlic sauce) were out of this world. Make sure you try their selection of orange wine. Highly recommend.
