Bought a bunch of food on my way to little island and I started to settle down and eat what I purchased from the store. shortly, I was astonished to see such an enormous chunk of mold on my napoleon dessert, moreover, this left a distasteful taste in my mouth and for a food establishment the magnitude of such an incident occurring is unacceptable and left me questioning the food of this place

Super expensive but the workers were nice

They leave the home fries off my breakfast platter order even though the sign clearly states home fries are included. When I point out that the sign says the home fries are included the worker says he doesn't care what his sign says, I have to pay extra. This has happened on multiple occasions. Horrible customer service.

IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE --STAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

What you about to read is completely accurate and very scary. I became seriously ill after eating pancakes, eggs and bacon from Chelsea Square Market, 130 10th Avenue in Manhattan. When I say ill, that's an understatement. Here is what happened--I purchased the food in the early morning--like 4:00a-5:00a on Dec 31st, 2024. This was the first meal of the day after I woke up. About 6 hours later I was so sick that I could not function. I immediately returned home and for the next 50 hours I could not stand or leave the bathroom. I won't go into all of the symptoms, but I'm sure you get the picture. It was the sickest I have ever been in my life!!! When I was well enough-- I visited the deli to let them know what happened. I was waiting there to talk to the manager quietly about what had happened and another customer came in to return their egg and cheese on a bagel because it had hair in it!!! You can't make this stuff up. This is disgusting and unacceptable, and I am serious when I say, if you value your life stay as far as you can away from here. They don't wear gloves, they don't have hair nets, and they are making people sick. I was lucky that I was able to recover from this because I have a very strong immune system-- BUT--if someone with a compromised immune system got this same strain of SALMONELLA ( which came from their mishandling of the eggs) they could very well be dead. One last fact, which adds insult to injury-I asked the manager to have the owner call/email me so we could discuss this. I gave her my contact info. I was trying to see maybe if the owner got involved --they would make sure this would NEVER happen again to anyone else. The owner never called me back. Clearly, the owner could care less. The NYC Health Department is now involved. I will report back on here what they say and do. UNTIL THEN I WOULD NOT EAT A SINGLE MORSEL OF FOOD FROM THIS PLACE.

Money grabbers I've never seen something like this I ordered a turkey sandwich it was 9.99$ he charged 10.99 and said its after 11:00 we add 1$ and then he said did you add lettuce to it I said yes and he said 1$ its crazy how they take advantage of people is it normal to charge for a little bit lettuce on the sandwich or charge extra for after 11:00 am thats insane how greedy business owners can be

CHELSEA, NY - How can you walk around Chelsea and not check out Chelsea Square Market? It's not just your average deli food market - it's got this amazing artwork on the side of the building that you can't miss!
.
For many, this place is my go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, or any items they might need - even razor blades! I highly recommend the turkey bacon, egg, and cheese on wheat toast - it's a must-try! Whether you need a quick bite or a cold beverage, they've got you covered. Plus, they offer fresh salads and juices too.

Sausage, egg, and cheese is $6 on their menu. They charge $7.62 ($7 + tax)—ok. Credit card transaction goes through as $7.92 (they adjust the amount after the fact). Really weird behavior.
