I came here during rush hour (lunch) and at first I thought, man, that line looks long but after going in it turned out to be a seamless experience. I ordered immediately and got my food as soon as I was done ordering. Just a testament to how well this team does and all with a smile on their face. It really made my day! Shoutout to my cashier Valeria and the manager who I did not get the name of, super friendly and efficient staff.

A great place to have a meal. The only problem is that there are no tables to sit. We took the meal and want to Central Park.

customer service is not dead at the 42nd street chik fil a

melanie and the manager before her during 8/26/2025 lunch time found my bag that i left behind.

I called the location, having realized i left something behind. after a ring or two, a real employee of this location picked up and told me she had my bag. amazing that this kind of thing can still happen. i fully expected an automated phone system and an hour+ of stress but the employees here made my problem vanish into thin air and i feel so good about new york.

great chicken, too

I typically go here for lunch when it’s super busy. It’s a well oiled machine, as they have a ton of people at the cashiers and they are very welcoming. Food is consistent and tasty.

The reason for my review is one day, the worker who was directing where people to go at the cashier said something to me. Now, he might have been trying to make conversation, I don’t know. He looked at me and walked over and said: “You’re not from New York, are you?” I replied no, he then laughed at me and walked away. For some reason, this didn’t sit well with me. He walked behind the counter and disappeared. I should have said something to management right then, but I had to go back to my office.

Other than that interaction, it’s an easy place to get lunch during the week.

Ritual of mine to stop by here before I catch the train home. Service is incredibly fast, barely any line when I go, so thank you to all the hardworking staff!

worst chik fil a i’ve been to. sandwich had no flavor so i threw it out. fries had no salt and were also stale. both our sprite and coke were flat. the cashiers were also rude. would not recommend this location

A great place to hang out across the street from Grand Central. Much better than the food court in Grand Central where there is no general seating except for one restaurant. It is quiet and clean with a bathroom (code needed). The food is… well… fast food. I just had a seltzer bc I was there with someone else who just wanted a quick bite before the train ride. You have to ask for ketchup… they keep it behind the counter.

Terrible experience for my wife I totally understand they closed at 10pm and need to clean but when you start rushing customers to finish eating quick is not cool ....... later on my wife was told by the manager cleaning staff are told to rush seated customers eating..... I really think this practice is totally unacceptable hope headquarters read this review
