Roughly $20 after tax for this Ponzu Salmon bowl. Pretty clean fast casual spot in Chinatown.

We really wanted to like this place, and it was only okay. We tried 4 different bowls but none of them wowed us. The fish was good quality but for the price, we didn't leave full, and they didn't even offer water without buying a bottle.

I haven’t been back here for awhile but this is one of the few places that serve bluefin tuna poke bowls. They also have a flight of 3 if you want to try different bowls though I still think the bluefin tuna is the best one.

4.5 / 5.0 - I was in Chinatown and stopped by late afternoon for a late lunch at this casual, counter-service poke spot.
It was nice and clean inside, with seating available along the walls.

I chose the Ponzu Salmon ($18+), which had salmon, avocado, cucumber, shiso, tobiko and katsuo panko.
It came with wasabi ponzu, which I asked for on the side because I do not like wasabi. The staff was insistent that the wasabi flavor was mild, but I simply do not like the flavor and ended up eating most of the bowl without it.
The bowl itself was delicious and I especially loved the flavor that the shiso added.

Chinatown isn’t the first place you’d think of for Hawaiian cuisine, but I’d recommend trying if you like poke.

I’ve been here so many times and have had an excellent experience every time with the customer service as well as the food being amazing. They just helped me with this complicated situation that happened with an order I placed and they were able to help me get my order re-delivered after having gotten it stolen And I just love this place and hope anyone Who comes across it loves it as much as me they’re awesome!

One of the best things in life is a poké bowl and it’s safe to say Chikarashi knows how to enjoy life! Nowhere in New York compares to the many poké spots along the west coast and in Hawai’i but this comes close. The seafood is quite fresh and a great spot for a quick takeout lunch on a work day. And if you’re in for a sweet treat, they have Dole whip!

I had to come on here very late --- this my hands-down favorite place to order food from for years already. The food is always fresh and excellent for a fair price. Just fabulous. I wish they still had the location on W 27th st but it closed during the pandemic. Truly exceptional.

Great restaurant for a quick and delicious bowl !
I was recommended this place by a friend and he swears by it. I ended up getting the roasted black cod bowl. He got is go to roasted unagi. I tired his and it was very good and had a slight sweetness to it. The cod was also very delicious and flavorful. I would recommend going for a quick easy and very tasteful meal ! I will return.
