For a place in the middle of a block, it just shines through the chicken was absolutely tender fell off the bone season properly. Had a salad with it. That is an artist beautiful put together did take out which was very fast. The rice beautiful the beans were kidney beans and prepared beautifully. You mix the rice and the beans together and use your spoon and you have a wonderful dish. a chicken is spectacular. Got the Kona cola which is delightful and very hard to get goes very well with the meal. Definitely a must place for everybody to go to much better than the Supermarket chickens. Of course they have many other things on the menu and I’m sure that they were just as equally good come on by say hi and the way we go.

Haven’t been to the restaurant yet — I ordered delivery.
As a Peruvian, with strong knowledge of the diversity of our cuisine, which has been awarded multiple times as one of the world’s finest and most excellent, I’m very selective when it comes to authentic Peruvian food.
I can confidently say this place has the best pan con chicharrón (pork confit sandwich) I’ve tried in all of Manhattan. ¡Felicidades!

Loved the food! The chicken was incredibly flavorful, and we also tried the pork sandwich which was amazing. I hadn’t had Peruvian food before, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. I’ll definitely be coming back. Also try their tostones they are great.

Pork sandwich is really good, they have a great service. But they should service hot /cold coffee and hot chocolate in their menu, it will be a plus with the sandwich.
I've been on a mission to try every Peruvian pollo a la brasa in NYC, hoping to find the ones that have the same taste as the ones back in Lima. Chrip is nearly spot on. Amazing tasting chicken that actually tastes like Peruvian pollo a la brasa instead of the 5 spices some other places do. Chicken was so succulent. The green sauce was so good.
The other star of the show here is the Pork confit sandwich which is a nod to the traditional Peruvian pan con chicharrón. It was SOO GOOD. Pork was so tender and the flavours were incredible. I've been back a few times and gotten it every time.
Probably my fave Peruvian pollo spot in Manhattan at the moment. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a loyal customer at the Chirp location for a while, and I order from there literally every day. But I need to call out a truly frustrating issue that happens only at this particular branch when I order through Uber Eats. Unlike any other location of theirs, they refuse to let me have my chicken boneless unless I order it in a specific bowl or with rice. It makes no sense. When I’m physically at the restaurant, they do it for me without a problem. But through Uber Eats, if I call to clarify that I want boneless chicken, I keep being told it’s not possible.
It’s honestly ridiculous that I have to order my chicken in a certain way just to get it boneless. And it seems to be the same employee every time who refuses to accommodate this simple request. This doesn’t happen at any other Chirp location and never in person, only here!! and only through delivery. It’s just absurd. Please address this because it really ruins the experience.

I really like the food, probably one of the best pollos a la brasa in Manhattan but the cashier was super rude and didn’t even know what palta meant, so disappointed on having to say aguacate even though this is a Peruvian place
