The place isn’t that good when compared to Chama Mama. The fare was slightly different than the typical Georgian food. If this is your first time eating Georgian, don’t go there.

We ordered so many dishes. The food and Georgian wine was delicious, compliments to the chef. There were not many people when we got here. The service was painstakingly slow and the servers had attitude or maybe they’re miserable? Not sure. The manager hung out by the door at the end of the bar on his laptop, blocking the entrance, instead of making himself useful when the restaurant got busy and tables clearly needed help. He did eventually clear a few plates.

Jan 2024 update: this place has become one of my favorite restaurants in the entire city and I've lived here for four decades. Every time I go (lost count now) and everyone I bring absolutely loves loves loves the food. Cannot recommend enough! ?My Georgian friend says this is the best Georgian in the city. What a gem, not just for the neighborhood but for the whole city. Literally everything on the menu is delicious -- between my friends and I we shared everything and everyone was in heaven! The staff is super friendly, and the space is nicely done, very tastefully decorated and impeccably clean -- between the sidewalk space, the backyard, and the main room, the place is spacious despite its unassuming street presence. A good friend of mine raved about the food after returning from Georgia and now I totally see why, wow.
