I've been a customer since they opened, close to 40 years ago. The best bodega in the city, bar none. Great "deli-style" stuffed sandwiches and paninis. Fair priced, too, although they can vary a dollar or two from day-to-day when the register is being slammed by custmers. It comes out in the wash over time.
Just an absurd (but balanced) amount of every ingredient in the B.E.C.There aren't a ton of delis near Union Square / Flatiron, but there doesn't need to be when this spot is available.
