Sweet hole in the wall spot for Chinese (and Thai!) fare — the veggie dumplings are the perfect amount of savory goodness, paired with the Murray chicken dish with a stir fry veggie medley that reminded me of my beloved Peruvian dish: Lomo Saltado ❤️ Lastly the ambiance is lowkey enough to make the sole focus of a diner’s (solo or accompanied) experience centered on good food and cozy vibes. Shout out to the staff here and Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧
Our favorite Chelsea Chinese restaurant closed so some locals suggested we go to CS and we loved the food (pork belly buns, tom yum soup, pad thai) - it was delicious. Our 2 servers could not have been nicer - stories were shared from a trip to Nepal! We're also proudly carrying our Chop-Shop bag now :)
The drunken noodles at this location is delicious and definitely a highlight of the menu. I also tried the rice and chicken dish, but the chicken was quite dry, which detracted from the overall experience.
Service was great, the single washroom was clean, and both dine-in and takeout options are available.
