Came here on a whim and so glad we did. I’m from Louisiana so always a little hesitant to order seafood from places but Chubby Crab knows what’s up. The fish was awesome, great seasoning, great batter. Service is outstanding too. Checked on us twice and even helped when cleaning up. Also love the music choice and decorations. Great vibes all around. Best wishes, and we will be back each time we visit nyc.

Staff seems nice, food is alright. The fried rice with chicken was 90% rice, while I expect at least some vegetables or a good amount of chicken. Had a few small egg shells in my food or extremely hard rice, which bothered me a bit. I am a bit confused why we didn't get plates when getting the food and instead just got the to-go version without a bag, but it helped in the end, because we had to pack a part up because we got much food. This also makes the price good.

Wow do these guys know how to fry fish! Delicate, flaky, moist, crisp, delicious.
Only cricisms: just a tad excess taste of baking powder/soda. And the onion rings seem like the same supplier as used by Burger King. Which I love, when I go to BK. Just expected location made, here; so just be aware going into it if u order that. Still, excellent Fish & O-Rings
