Happy cow won’t let me give them a 5-star rating but I know they are fully vegan. They had a sign inside that said so. The flavors were so delicious and unique, and I love the chewy, yeast donuts rather than cake donuts. Staff were very kind and offered a sample of one! Would highly recommend.

Staff was joyous and helpful and all around wonderful - made some great suggestions and took home some real winners - MUST GET the creme brûlée puffs (gorgeous and vegan - how do they do it?!). The donuts are soft, puffy and fluffy - the earlier you go the better! Husband loved these too! So happy we stopped in and got so many - also ref the pistachio and the strawberry but every flavor is amazing! Any believe the entire menu is vegan/plant-based, so impressive - you'd never know!!!!

WHERE DREAMS CRUMB TRUE! Everything about this establishment embodies excellence. From the products, Marketing, Service and Atmosphere, 10/10. I personally had the strawberry donuts and they were absolutely delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping here if you’re in NYC, once you eat one, you won’t be able to stop haha. Shoutout to John for assisting me in todays visit and a big shoutout to the owners for opening NYC's first 100% vegan donut store and the first Black Owned food and beverage business in Nolita! True black luxury is here, and here to stay. If that doesn’t inspire the culture, Idk what will! You can do anything you put your mind to, no matter your circumstances and the owners have defined that! ANYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE IS REAL.

Starting to think these reviews are paid by people they know because the Mott Street location is 100% closed 90% of the time just black inside everytime I go pass. There only “OPEN” when they get a celeb/influencer to shout the donuts out or a “collab” very brand coded not about the food but the hype of the whole thing.

We were very excited after seeing Cloudy Donuts' social media posts and website to try out what they had on offer.
While presented very nicely, we were a little disappointed at the lack of the more exciting flavours they post about, and the two we tried, while tasty enough, didn't wow us. For the money you pay for a single doughnut, we expected a lot more, although if they're using harder-to-source or more expensive ingredients this would make sense (although we couldn't see anything online or in-shop explaining that).
Even so, if I was in the area again I think we'd certainly pop back in to try one of their more novel flavours.

I went in on a Sunday and was able to order right away. The employee was super friendly and helped me pick a dozen for a birthday surprise. Everyone raved about the flavors / taste. Easily a new customer for life!

I needed some cakes/ desserts for a birthday/ retirement party. Their website advised us to order ahead of time and I am glad I did, because by the time I got there at 5:45pm, they had closed their doors because they had sold out of everything already. I needed instructions with their Margarita donut as it comes with a small vial of Margarita that we can squirt onto the donut! Everything was delicious and the presentation was awesome. Will come back to try their different flavors throughout the seasons.

The site and Google say the place closes at 6:00 p.m. but it's really 5:55. That's when I arrived, they closed the door and would not so much as talk to me nor let me in. I came from the top of Manhattan on multiple trains to support fellow vegans, Blacks and a fellow former teacher as I saw their story and posted it on my page. Live and learn. When I was done taking photos, it was 5:57. Still not 6:00 p.m. Addendum: I tried again on a Thursday at 4:00 p.m. They were completely closed. No staff, doors locked, lights out. I'm done with this place.

These far exceeded my expectations, SO YUMMY! I am not vegan and have had my share of vegan donuts I found nasty, these were so different. The light fluffy donut carries the glazes so well.

The donuts are great, light and fluffy but there website give an allusion of different flavors that can not be purchased at the store nor via catering. This week I went to the store with the list that shows online as being available and they were not. I was told certain deserts that are listed this week are only for weekend and this is not mentioned online. My advice would be to have all flavor options available in store first come first serve or catering options. I called for catering inquiries and spoke with one of the managers and was told I would get a email and phone call the next day. It has been 2 months ago and I still have not received a phone call nor a email. Service needs to be better and online options need to be accurate.
