Perfect dining experience. We sat on the upper floor on the window. I had the Filet Mignon. Caesar salad. And dessert. All were totally excellent chef prepared. What service and manager check-ins were what you always hope for at a top Manhattan restaurant and both were very attentive and professional. Atmosphere as well was top notch. I think you can’t go wrong with Club A. My older son also had an awesome dinner. We will be back.

Some of the best service I’ve experienced at a restaurant. Waiters were on standby at all times to fill drinks, and make sure everything was to your liking. The manager also came by our table multiple times as well. All the food was good, steak and fish included, but the tiramisu for dessert was utter perfection.

My girlfriend had a Groupon to go here so we went. She got a filet and I got a NY strip, both were burnt to a crisp. Could’ve been a one off mistake but with all the other options in NYC at similar prices I would hesitate to go back.

Given the reviews on this site, I was expecting a stellar meal. But the food was far below my expectations - meat was fatty, oysters were not great, and even the broccoli was greasy. They brought over a free dessert to accommodate what they clearly recognized was a failed attempt; but even that was pretty bland. I had high expectations but was very underwhelmed.

This was such a hidden gem for date night. Located in a nice slower pace and quiet part of the city. The atmosphere is so cozy and comforting. Very romantic and elegant decor. The owner & staff was very welcoming and friendly. They celebrated my date's birthday with complementary desserts and a photo. The food was absolutely delicious! I got the Hanger Steak and fries my date got a Ribeye Steak

We didn't have a reservation but we got in ahead of the rush and got a table. The wine list is quite glorious but the meat is really the star ⭐. My companion had the filet mignon but I went with the lamb 🐑. So good. They gave us complimentary dessert which was quite pleasant.

This steakhouse is no joke. I found Club A because I was looking on google for a high-rated steakhouse. At first I was hesitant because I see a decent amount of people came to Club A with a groupon so I thought the reviews were biased. HOWEVER, I was completely wrong. First off, the feel of the steakhouse is authentic, old school New York. There's a fresh rose on each table and the owner (well, I assume he's the owner) at the bar greeting everyone. Then the servers were amazing. No gimmicks, no butt-kissing, no rudeness. Every now and again, the owner would walk around to make sure everything was going fine. He wasn't hovering and he seemed completely genuine in his approach. Finally, the food. Wow. The porterhouse was perfectly cooked and medium rare, with the hot butter keeping it alive. They even provided us with hot plates so our food stayed warm. The spinach was made with the exact right amount of nutmeg in it. The Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were simple, no drama or extra pizzazz. It was close to perfection. Just when you think it can't get any better, the servers provided us--though I'm not sure if they did that with everyone--with complimentary desserts of cannoli, cheesecake, and a third dessert which i unfortunately forgot the name of. Overall, I can't say enough good things about Club A.

Celebrated our 5-year anniversary at Club A Steakhouse and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The owner, host, and staff were incredibly gracious and welcoming. We booked through Groupon, but they treated us like VIP guests from start to finish.
The food was excellent, the service was exceptional, and the staff even surprised us with an anniversary dessert, took photos for us, and gave us a card signed by the owner. Every detail was thoughtful and genuine.
One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in NYC. Highly recommended.

Club a steakhouse continues to be a family favorite. I’m the oldest of five siblings and we took our dad out for dinner. He used to take us here when we were kids and we had such an amazing time. The service is great and I love how they do the group photo at the end for a complementary Momento that we can have for Years to come. Thank you so much for your amazing service and always taking care of us.! 100/10 always will recommend.
