Unfortunately updating my review from 5 to 3 starts. 2025 review: This place has been a go to staple for me for years. The shrimp tacos were insanely good and I always took people visiting here and they loved it! I recently went again for the first time in a little bit and the entire menu changed. The prices are higher (okay fair everything in the city has gone up) and the menu was now massive (never a good sign) we orders tacos, drinks, salsa and guacamole. And everything was ‘fine’ no longer great or amazing just fine. The flavors are much flatter, the spice my things are now mild. Such a disappointment to see a favorite spot change so much for the worse :( hoping they bring the old menu back but I haven’t been back since 😕

New menu here is great, big fan of the adjustments. Like sitting at the bar, though in the cold months the door is slow to shut and the cold air can be drafty.

Purchased the burritos. They were supposed to have mushrooms and carnitas. I didn't receive mushrooms and carnitas. Called and was put on hold for over 5 minutes until I decided to hang up. So I didn't receive the bare minimum of customer service either.

Ordered a chicken burrito for delivery and it was one of those things that was so simple but really perfectly executed. Very clean food with delicious balance and awesome standards for delivery!

All the dishes we tried - chip and dips with salsa, street corn, and quesadillas with rice and beans - were lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here on a snowy winter evening. Highly recommend the street corn.
Terrible experience involving drinks and the bill. Asked about a margarita pitcher, was told it would be about 4-5 drinks. Barely made 3 drinks while literally holding the pitcher upside down to get every last drop. A pitcher was $20 more than just 3 margs (if we ordered a regular marg it would have been filled while ours were like 5 sips.) When we asked if it was possible to just pay for 3 margaritas instead, we were met with a very upset manager who said “best I can do is charge you for 4.” OK SIR WE LITERALLY ONLY HAD 3 DRINKS, SO NO. Make it make sense. He said his server should not have told us 4-5 drinks and the server was wrong. Not a fan of managers throwing their staff under the bus. On top of that food was meh. Carnitas rice bowl was full of fatty inedible pieces. There are so many great Mexican restaurants in NYC. This is not one to return to.

So they brought back Taco Tuesday, but their tacos are essentially $8 each. What a freakin joke. Any taco truck in the neighborhood is definitely better than these, I assure you. And far cheaper, as well. no wonder this place is never busy anymore.

The drinks and ambiance of this place were good! However our meals weren’t that great. I got the pulled pork tacos and it was almost all fat :( didn’t eat the other one

Entrance: it is cozy inside with a great feel and excellent natural interior lighting. The burrito bowl was outstanding, hands down the best I have ever had, and that says a lot. All the ingredients of the dish tasted very fresh, with each bite enjoyable. A margarita on the rocks, classic, during happy hour, was mixed perfect. If you're thinking about it-just come here! The ambiance is fantastic, and the decoration is so cool. Conmigo is a must-visit on any day, both because of its prime UES location and its menu-which keeps on changing day by day-and because of its outstanding service. Highly recommended: DO NOT MISS Snake Bite, Taco Flight, and especially their SALADS-the best in NYC! Look forward to going again!

Changed hands recently and has really gone downhill. This used to be one of my favorite Mexican spots in the neighborhood but the food is terrible now. I had the queso which uses a different cheese now and the lower quality is obvious. I also had the Guadalajara chicken which tasted like a cardboard box. 0/5.
