Great food at reasonable prices. A lot of fun for personal or business meals. French dip was the best I ever had. Great selection of dishes
Great pub to go to before a show. Plenty of room for big or small parties and the food is good. We went there for dinner on a Saturday night, the place was crowded but we were able to get a table right away. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the fish and chips my wife had the beef stew. The fish was light and moist with a crunchy breading. The beef stew was tasty but a little thin for my taste but my wife loved it. All in all a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend it.
Our waiter wasn't particularly kind but did her job well enough . The bar staff and other servers were much more attentive , kind and helpful . The food was okay. Don't think I'll be returning any time soon.
We had 9 people (kids under 10 and elderly people needing assistance) in our party and we were seated and served 10 out of 10. Refills and the food came out the same time. everyone got what they ordered. the food was delicious. Shepard's pie and salmon were perfect.

This was a cute and quiet spot, located very close to Grand Central. We felt that the food was not very good, and did not have much flavor. We felt it was not worth the cost.
Everyone enjoyed their food, standard Irish American cuisine. They got the food out quick and the service was fantastic. It was 12/30 and it was busy with a lot of family sized sized tables but the staff were awesome. Recommend if you are in midtown to see the sights
Had a reservation for 4 pm, but arrived into manhattan earlier than expected. We were seated immediately. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered traditional Irish fare (required to order a shepherds pie or beef stew, no?) Our waitress was friendly and remembered our order without writing it down. Food came fast- it was delicious and hot! Water was refilled as needed. Waited a little for the check, but we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a problem. We will be back!
It's a bit loud because it's a large diner, but the food was reasonable. My spouse and I had French onion and potato leek soup and shared the pretzel bites, which was plenty for dinner for two of us. Don't expect much Irish cuisine on the menu. Prices are what you would expect for midtown Manhattan near a tourist hotspot.

Just went for drinks in the evening time, sat at the bar and watched some Sunday night football, no wait time and the bar tenders always had our next drinks ready

We had high hopes for Christmas eve here however we were extremely disappointed. I had the chicken pot pie which I have to say was lovely however it didn't come with any sides and I wasnt informed else I would have ordered some. My hubby had the fish and chips and whilst the chips were OK, the fish not so much. The batter wasnt crispy and it was soggy, that along with bland tasting fish didn't make for a good meal. Final nail, the price. We paid just under $100 for this meal which was totally NOT worth it. We have been eating out in NYC for a week and this was by far the most expensive. I wouldn't recommend nor would I visit again
THE FRENCH ONION SOUP - GET IT!
This is the coziest pub in Midtown. A changing room for the baby. Large round tables for groups. High heat to warm you up. Food is expected.

I love this spacious midtown pub, which is conveniently located within walking distance of Grand Central Terminal.
Connolly's also gets super festive during the holiday season with decorations and music.
A great place to unwind after a long day in the city. TVs, an extensive bar, and a food menu to boot. 💯

Customer experience wasn’t good. We came as a party of three during a none busy time (4:30pm) for a quick bite. Our server looked like he wanted to be anywhere else and barely was around. Asked to have the check split three ways which he said he could not. When we got the check it was automatic 20% gratuity which we were not told before sitting down. That automatic gratuity def made the service worse. Asked for the manager and he said we could split it and that the gratuity was for the holidays. We have no problem tipping 20% as long as the service and environment was friendly and acceptable BUT it definitely was NOT!
