Great pub to go to before a show. Plenty of room for big or small parties and the food is good. We went there for dinner on a Saturday night, the place was crowded but we were able to get a table right away. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the fish and chips my wife had the beef stew. The fish was light and moist with a crunchy breading. The beef stew was tasty but a little thin for my taste but my wife loved it. Our waiter wasn't particularly kind but did her job well enough . The bar staff and other servers were much more attentive , kind and helpful . The food was okay. Don't think I'll be returning any time soon.
We had 9 people (kids under 10 and elderly people needing assistance) in our party and we were seated and served 10 out of 10. Refills and the food came out the same time. everyone got what they ordered. the food was delicious. Shepard's pie and salmon were perfect.
