This is hands down an excellent burger and atmosphere, with great people and a good atmosphere to talk, and kitchen is open late. This is not a good place for influencers, the lighting is terrible for selfies and I believe there is a Wi-Fi blocker so you have to talk to each other. Also, it's cash only which means everyone who works there is good at math.
Great service. Cool, old-fashioned decor. Outdoor terrace was clean and quiet. The fries were salted but nothing special. The burger was a great portion, on a potato-style roll. The meat for the burger was bland, but cooked exactly medium-rare. It lacked seasoning (much like others have said), I wasn’t overly satisfied with the flavor even if the meat was juicy. Bacon was crispy, which made this 4/5 star review.
I love a place that does what it does, and does it well. Corner Bistro is a low-key, no frills kind of joint that serves up basic food done extremely well. It's one of my favorite burgers in New York: a thick, chonky patty that's got a nice char on it but still drips juice when you bite in.
