Corner Bistro is a no-frills classic. The burger is top-tier—juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked. Simple setting, eat at the bar if you like. Cash only, which somehow makes it even better. Consistently one of the best burgers in NYC.
Local bistro in the Village, with perfect atmosphere, polite and very welcoming service, simple but effective menu, with perfect burgers, hearty fries, and sensational tots, fried potato dumplings. Very moderate prices. It represents the best of the neighborhood.
Best burger I have ever ever eaten. $30 for a CB, fries and a soda. Service also superb, waiter or owner asked me how I wanted the pad and it came perfect! Neighborhood also great, I walked there from Whitney Musem, small family shops, quiet streets, nice trees shadows. Only downsize is restroom without water in the faucet / in the flush.
