This place has been great for children the last few years. Unit recently, where the weekend bartenders have been utterly rude to parents. There is a woman bartender who yelled at the children in a very aggressive tone. I have seen her several times the last few weekends and she is among the meanest bartenders I can remember. Unfortunate for a place that historically has been thought of by my parents group as one of the welcoming locales. Not anymore.

This place has SO much potential, but the staff is almost unsettlingly rude. Every other Craft+Carry location is amazing, but I was so uncomfortable here. When I walked in, I said hi and asked if there was room in the back. I was told "I don't know, go look" pretty gruffly. A guy near us in the back was playing with his kid for about an hour while we were there, we walked in right before him so maybe something happened when he walked in? But he was so kind and considerate to my kids, and was playing with them so kindly. About an hour into him being there and not leaving the area, a manager came back and told him he had to leave immediately or he would call the cops. The guy kept asking what he did and they wouldn't tell him. They said it was their right to kick him out but didn't give an explanation. When I asked a bartender/server what happened after they left, they said that his child's stroller had blocked a doorway and he was rude about it to a bartender when they asked him to move it. I didn't witness this, and I don't support being unkind to waitstaff, but that felt like a very extreme reason to publicly and embarrassingly kick out a hands on father. A friend in my party noticed the man was wearing a Star of David necklace, and wondered if that was why. I don't want to accuse this place of that, but hours later, our friends could still not figure out what happened to the kind man who showed our kids love. I won't come back here again, and wouldn't recommend it unless they change the staff. The concept and beers are awesome though!

They kicked me out because my 2 year olds stroller was blocking a door for 2 minutes. I moved it and asked if it was okay, proceeded for 45 mins before a manager told me to leave without explaining to me why. He said he was calling police on me. Finally on the way out I overheard it was the because I was rude to the the worker who told me to me move my stroller nearly an hour prior. I urge you, do not bring a stroller to this place - the manager will harass you one hour after a misplacement of your stroller.

This place has potential, but told me that I couldn't let my child out of the stroller, when the place was basically empty. This is the UES, which is full of young families and all of the restaurants and bars are very accommodating. Telling anyone to keep their kid in a stroller or leave is honestly so out of touch with the neighborhood and 2024 in general.

It's always a refreshing experience coming to this place. The folk who work here are friendly and chill, and it's a perfect spot to bring your group of favorite people to spend quality time catching up

Super laid back vibe. The staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the beers they have. They make great suggestions based on your likes and dislikes. Gotta love their flights.

Craft+Carry is pretty consistent across its locations, so you know what you're getting at any given neighborhood. The UES store is fine, lots of beers on tap and in cans, no complaints there. The inside gives a steampunk vibe, and feels brighter and a bit more spacious than some of their other shops. Staff is always friendly and helpful with beer selection. The beer ain't cheap though! At around $10-$12 a pour (or can), you'll definitely pay a premium for that craft goodness. And in an area with a number of other good beer spots at a similar price point, it makes the UES location a decent fallback option if you're looking for a decent (but pricey) beer.

Fridge is way too warm... don't have anything else to say. Just trying to fill the character limit. Don't sell warm beer...

The service is exemplary, with a staff that is not only friendly but also well-versed in their offerings. The ambiance complements the diverse selection of craft beers, making it a standout spot in the city.

Unknowledgeable serving staff, warm beers from both kegs and coolers. Along with a skunked IPA.

Fun place for a happy hour. We ordered in pizza from another place since they don't have food. Taking one star down as there were people playing bar games and it was getting very loud.

Great place to have a beer and chat or get some work done. Fridge with 100+ beers and a bar with 20-30 beers on tap. Beers in the fridge change. I do wish there was a bigger belgian selection (there are like 4-5 beers in the fridge at a time) but I know this is my niche haha. Overall pretty great.
