What an addition - open 5ish months, best ever brisket empanada and great friendly atmosphere. Fun merch for any empanada lover (just a couple little good things).

I had two two empanadas that were delicious! They were tasty (both chicken) but also soft with just the amount of crunch on the crust. Will absolutely be coming again.

I just had the best empanada l've ever had in my entire life. I would post a picture of it, but I scoffed down after tasting it. Sabrina was absolutely the sweetest and recommended the spicy sauce with the brisket empanada which was AMAZING. Don't pass up on this place I promise it will wow you!

Nice product but at $7.14 π€ per empanada this place will not last. It's a $5 item at best.
They ask you if you want sauce and then charge you for it. This place is a joke. My prediction, this place will be gone by Christmas.
I live nearby and know the area well.
Note to the owner: Consider adjusting your pricing to $5 per empanada and I guarantee you will busy with customers all day everyday considering the amount of people walking by.
There's barely any customers inside every time I pass by and they are likely throwing out 75% of what they produce.
Curious as to what will occupy this space once they inevitably close.

Delicious empanadas! I was first introduced to Criollas when I passed by their Hell's Kitchen location one night and fell in love. When they opened their West Village location I just knew that I had to do a catering order for one of our staff meetings. I'm so glad I did- they were a HUGE HIT. My colleagues have been asking me where I got them and if we can get them again in the future! Thank you for making your empanadas with care.

Mouth watering empanadas and quality is definitely their recipe. Loved the chicken and the spinach flavours canβt wait to go back to try more.
