The food was not bad, but the service was terrible. This restaurant offers welcome chips and salsa to everyone. However, it wasn't only provided at our table. After the main dish came out, I requested it from the server, and he only said he would give it to me without a single apology. I've been to many restaurants in New York, but this was the first time I've seen such unpleasant service. It felt like I was being discriminated against. How can they provide such discriminatory services in New York, a place with diverse races and cultures?

I visited around 2 PM on March 15th and was at a table near the restroom on the first floor. I forgot the server's name. If you are in management, make sure to check the server in this area.

I highly recommend this place! Our experience was 20 out of 10 thanks to our server JP. He was so knowledgeable and detailed with every dish we received. If you want next level Mexican cuisine or want to impress a date with a great food and service…come to Cuerno and ask for JP! Trust!

Absolutely delicious and service was great. We got Arrechera, cooked perfectly, esquites, tacos de carnitas, and the ceviche. They also gave us nice welcome drinks, which included an NA option! Alberto was our server, and he was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Very pleased with everything here and wish I’d taken better photos. Attentive and friendly staff who was very accommodating and concerned about allergies at the table. Food and drinks were fantastic.

What an amazing experience. I am a fan of Mexican food and an even bigger fan of finding New Mexican restaurants to try. The atmosphere was breathtaking it was so packed I knew that it was the place to be for a great outing and food. Every dish brought to the table was DELICIOUS! Packed with so much flavor. They gave us complementary glasses of their frozen Mango Margarita and WOW! To be able to taste the alcohol and the mango without the favor of either taking over the other was amazing. My glass of California Siduri Pinot Red wine was so yummy!!! The steak with bone marrow on top was Chef’s Kiss and that steak taco was to die for. My mouth was watering at the arrival of the steak and the marrow being scooped out onto the steak that I didn’t even get a picture of the steak. It was beautiful, full of flavor and so tender to cut and chew. The place is huge with ample seating for a date dinner, gathering with friends/family, birthdays, even meetings. I truly enjoyed myself. Definitely see myself going back. Service was quick and top tier even with it crowded on a Friday Night. I can say after the first go, I like Cuerno enough to recommend.

Where do I begin? This is, hands down, the best mexican restaurant in NYC and I’m from the valley in California and been to Mexico City, Oaxaca, etc. From the salsa to the skirt steak to the hamachi to the service (JP, you were great). HOLY HELL. I swear, I’m not trying to overhype. This will be our new mexican spot.

I finally tried Cuerno tonight and had a great experience. When we first arrived it was packed, and when we checked in for our reservation they let us know our table wasn’t quite ready yet. The staff was very apologetic and even offered us a small frozen margarita while we waited, which was a nice touch.

We expected the wait to be long, but considering how busy they were, we were seated fairly quickly. The food was outstanding, and our server was very sweet and helpful with recommendations. One of the managers also stopped by to check on us during the meal and she was very kind and knowledgeable when my partner asked her a few questions about one of the dishes we were sharing.

Overall, it was a great experience and we can’t wait to come back!

The cake was AMAZING. The tacos were a bit salty but really enjoyed the quality of the meat, cheese, and taco. Service was great, I enjoyed learning about the restaurant, the attitude of the staff, and ambience. 10/10 would come again!

Outstanding food and service 🥂 This is a gem in the theater district and will now absolutely be a repeat for us. I am gluten free, and they took great care to make everything we ordered safe for me to eat. The product is amazing - hands down one of the best steaks I have had in Manhattan 😇

This review is specifically for the Enrique Olvera tasting menu offered in early March. It consisted of crudites with guacamole, tortilla soup with lobster broth (delicious, this may have been my favorite dish), strip steak with black peppercorn sauce, radicchio salad with roquefort (another favorite), a mushroom side that included ants - gives it a crunchy taste I was told (I tried it but can't say I ate the whole thing), and finally the sweet corn tamal served with pixtle ice cream. The food was good - I can't say it was exceptional - especially at the price (with 2 cocktails and a bottle of water - $350 for one). What was exceptional is the service - warm, attentive, helpful - really welcoming. I will add this was after, for whatever reason, I was initially sat at the bar vs. at a table and offered zero service for over 30 minutes. I finally called over the manager and asked him why I was seated at the bar for the tasting menu. He was mortified and immediately sat me in the dining room and I was both very impressed and grateful for how beautifully the team recovered from an obvious snafu. Bottom line: Cuerno is a very beautiful midtown restaurant absolutely ideal for wining and dining business clients. For somebody who loves more intimate, cozy restaurants, it's a tad too corporate.

My son wanted to come here since seeing reviews and pics of certain dishes so I decided to join him and so glad I did. Our waiter/ table host “Henry” was so very nice (and handsome) and very knowledgeable in the origin of the foods and how it is prepared. Also, beautiful, clean, comfortable atmosphere . Our meal Very tasty and fresh I will Definitely be going again.

If you are looking for an elevated taste of Northern Mexico, look no further, Cuerno is an absolute must-visit. Still processing the amazing service, atmosphere, and food that Cuerno provided. Amazing cocktails! Bartenders / Mixologists have a great knowledge of Mezcal and Tequila and make exquisite drinks. Started with Chicharron de Pulpo which was a unique flavorful take on octopus. Taco Taquero was a true highlight of the overall experience. It was prepared tableside with salt-charred skirt steak, and bone marrow that's acts like butter- its indulgent, interactive, and easily 10/10.
Also had Ribeye, perfectly cooked in a salt crust, making it incredibly juicy packed with deep, smoky flavor. Coliflor Habanero, thecharcoal-roasted cauliflower with pistachio truffle habanero sauce was a superb side dish.
