Came for oyster happy hour and we were quickly seated, though the place was packed. They had bar seating and high tops, wide array of oysters with all the accompaniments. However, the unexpected star of the show were the diver scallops, so delicious!

Visited on Mon before oyster HH and had a lovely experience. Great variety of oysters available — I especially enjoyed the medium salinity ones like Snowy Owl and Birthday Girls, which were packed with flavour. The savoury martini was average, but at $10 it was still a good deal.
What truly stood out was the impeccable service. Piper (and another guy whose name I didn’t catch) were incredibly attentive by constantly making sure my water was refilled. They were engaging and warm throughout the meal. Really appreciated their hospitality.

The food was good, but unfortunately the service was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was almost empty, yet I was placed at a poor table simply because I was dining alone, with the explanation that the better tables were being saved for parties of four.
I also explained to the manager, Ash, that I have back pain and asked if I could sit somewhere with proper back support, but he refused any accommodation, saying it was simply the restaurant’s “policy.”
It honestly felt unnecessarily unwelcoming and uncomfortable, especially considering the restaurant was nearly empty.

As you guys know I am venturing out to knock out places I've had bookmarked for years! And I'm slowly but surely knocking em down just need to write the reviews bear with me! This place was an absolute hit for me the only thing that disappointed me was it being in Chelsea market!!! They need their own space but the setup is perfect and it can fit a nice size group of people without feeling cramped. The service was prompt although they were busy! I love the set up of the fresh oysters and how they have the menu with where they are from. They were all so yummy birthday girl and peconic were my fave I order a second round of just those after these. They have weeknight specials I am coming back for the 39.95 lobster and fries special(only Wednesday)

Very popular seafood spot in Chelsea Market and rightfully so. Sharing a walk in fridge with sibling The Lobster Place market guarantees freshness. Huge win here is the lobster bake. We were accommodated in a walk in at 6pm on Friday night. A 1 1/2 pound lobster crowns a royal feast of mussels, clams, sausage, potatoes and corn, all in a magical savory broth. It was so much food that we chose to bring the lobster home for dinner tonight. Clean eating too, nothing fried of drenched in butter. Which is not to say you can’t enjoy some fried here as well… The Pistols on Horseback (fried oysters wrapped in jamón Ibérico, herb crêpe, pickled red onion and smoked aioli) were perfect bites… smokey, salty and crispy. The butter with the Parker rolls shows the commitment here to high quality ingredients. Our server was wonderful, a true gentleman who packed our lobster perfectly in ice as we had one more stop before home…

Incredible service and with Restaurant week and Oyster Happy Hour, our night out was more economical than usual. Our server, Ren B. was fantastic. Incredibly knowledgable on the oyster menu and made us feel so welcome. We started with 8 happy hour oysters and our ending bites were bumped with Kaluga caviar (highly recommend!). Oysters were fresh, briny and plump. Their mignonette might be sweetened a tad or they're using a sweeter sparkling wine, but pairs great with the salty brine of their oysters. Their clam chowder is incredibly rich and delicious. More filling than you'd expect. The pistols on horseback were three bites of fried oyster goodness, light, satisfying and savory. For mains we got the lobster roll (an upcharge). But perfectly cooked, very tender lobster in a buttery bun and old bay fries. If there's one restaurant week menu item to try here, it's the octopus. Very tender meat with fork-tender butter beans and salty chorizo. Desserts were a nice creamy cap to a wonderful dinner. Banana pudding and an apple crunch panacotta. Come here anytime for happy hour to try a nice variety of oysters.
Oysters were absolutely on point. Fresh, briny, and perfectly shucked. The mussels were also very nice, flavorful, and well prepared. Simple, high-quality seafood done right. Great spot when you’re craving excellent oysters.

We had a wonderful meal at the Cull & Pistol. We even learned the meaning of a Cull and a Pistol.
