Ordered take out which I picked up. The charred octopus look nothing like the photos. It was pieces of octopus in purée disappointed. The lamb burger was tasty but a small patty on a huge bun. I had to pull bread apart all around it. The fries were over cooked no potato in the middle only a greasy hard crunch. We were disappointed we wanted to love this place after its menu remake sigh ? I gave 2 stars only because the flavor of the lamb burger was good.

Went here last night with my bestie. Honestly the best pasta in town. I had the orchiette and she had the bolognese and we ate every bite. Max was our server and was so kind and welcoming to us. 100% will be coming back soon. Highly recommend for food, service and ambiance.

This has become our new local go-to! They recently changed their menu to Italian and everything we tried was amazing! My partner said the Crispy Brussel's appetizer was the best brussel sprouts he has ever had. He had the Truffle Pappardelle and the sauce was light, and creamy with a heavy emphasis on the fresh pasta. I had the Churraco with Chimichurri and everything on the plate was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked, the potatoes crispy and well seasoned, and the sauce was light but flavorful, which is exactly what you want with a nice steak.
Max, who was working as both server and bartender gave impeccable service and was so hospitable. He was friendly and so sweet, but also gave us space to talk and enjoy our meal. We liked that it could feel like a date night place, or just a place to hang with friends and get a nice cocktail and some bites.
The plateware was beautiful and unique, and we enjoyed the awesome decorations with skulls and skeletons (my personal favorite part). Our only feedback would be that the music and the TV did not seem to fit the space, but overall we loved it!
Will definitely be back to dine in or grab a bite to go!

Yummyyy. What i loved the most about Döden Bistrattoria was the hospitality, the owners and the staff are very welcoming.
Enjoyed my veggie lasagna, brussel sprouts and nutella mousse! Potato croquettes were also good.
Go try it out??

I used to be a regular back when the menu featured only pizza, so we were surprised to walk in yesterday and find a completely new menu with no pizza. Initially, we were a bit disappointed since I’d argue that Doden’s pizza was among the best in the city. However, we decided to give the new menu a try and ordered the mushroom pappardelle—and it was incredible. This was hands down the most delicious pasta I’ve had in the area. The presentation was elegant, and the pasta was perfectly al dente, bursting with flavor. It’s absolutely worth trying.
An added bonus for those who eat halal: their lamb is sourced from New Zealand. We didn’t manage to snap a picture of the food because we devoured it in seconds. We will definitely be back!

had a try pf one of their pizzas. the crust as good but i did not realize that i ordered a pizza with cold salami on top. Who actually makes pizza with cold salami anyway? and there was no cheese. if a pie like thi one manages to stay in a menu for a while one really has to wonder. for now i will stick to mamas too eatily or haute. i suspect this place could not be doing to well if this is particular pie is being offered

Swedish pizza aka kebab pizza is delicious! The Swedish pizza makers know what their doing! This type of pizza puts unusual but tasty toppings on their pizza that you wont find at other places

My first visit and the pizza was truly excellent, but as far as I could tell, there was nothing besides pizza - no sides, no salads, no pastas, etc. Also, the only cocktails are pre-made, so it's wine or beer, for which there's no menu. The server was friendly and capable. However, the seating is atrocious. The chairs look like overgrown children's chairs, but the seats are still quite low, and sitting at the counter is awkward. The kitchen is in full view, but it looks like a deejay booth.
In short, I wish the PLACE lived up to the FOOD.
