I am a regular at five flies (I come in almost everyday) because I absolutely love the atmosphere and the baristas. However, the owner is very rude. He is not polite to customers, nor his own staff. I am not shocked there is so much employee turnover lately because, unfortunately, this does not seem like a positive environment to work in. I will keep coming for the good coffee and amazing baristas – I just wish they were treated better!
Great vibe, perfect place to hang. They have this great tuna and caper sandwich which I really recommend.
Honestly, a perfect New York coffee shop. Good coffee good treats, comfy and diverse seating in the back. Plus progressive politics 🍉
