The food is fine but is way overpriced for what you are getting. I had both breakfast and dinner here while staying in the hotel and you can expect about $100 per meal after drinks and gratuity and the food is forgetable.

We visited this restaurant on New Year's Eve. The food was very good and met our expectations. However, the overall service and attention to detail did not reflect the standards of a restaurant located in a five-star hotel in New York City. Our table was not properly cleaned, and the wine glasses were dirty when the waiter attempted to pour the wine. Additionally, the service staff would benefit from improved training and greater product knowledge to match the level expected at this category of establishment. With better attention to cleanliness and service professionalism, the overall experience could be significantly improved
Food was good. Friendly staff. Service was excellent!!! Prices were as it should be. I recommend it.

The food was mediocre. The service was abysmal. First of all, the wait time was terrible beyond 30 minutes… and we were the only customers besides those at the bar. We asked them for extra plate, and nothing was brought out for over 10 minutes. Plus, the food was severely overpriced, especially the pomodoro, it had the soggiest and softest noodles I have ever tasted. The atmosphere was nice though.
Also they force a minimum 18% tip on everyone as a service tip in the check!!!

We had dinner here two nights in a row with my wife and our two kids. Overall, it was a good experience, but with a few notable frustrations.
The food at dinner was very good both nights. Service was friendly, though the food took longer than expected to arrive, even when the restaurant wasn’t very busy. That said, we didn’t mind too much because there was live music, and they were handing out complimentary glasses of wine, which was a nice and unexpected touch.
What really bothered me, though, was the pricing for kids’ drinks. The children’s meal prices were clearly printed, but drinks were not listed. Both of our kids ordered soft drinks, which arrived as cans of Coke. When the bill came, each can was $10 — more than half the cost of the kids’ meals. Charging $10 for a $1 can of soda, especially for children, feels unreasonable. There really should be a kids’ drink option that doesn’t cost that much.
My wife ordered a martini, which ended up being $24 plus a $6 upcharge. The cocktail menu lists drinks at $24, but martinis aren’t shown, so the final price was surprising. Disappointing, but not nearly as frustrating as the kids’ soda pricing.
Breakfast, on the other hand, was very good and much faster. I recommend the American breakfast — it includes the (yes, $10) cup of coffee and actually ends up being cheaper than the omelet.
Overall, we enjoyed the food, the live music, and the complimentary cocktail at 6:30, which made the evenings enjoyable. Just be very aware of drink pricing, especially if you’re dining with kids.

The bartender Mario included automatic charge 18%( not even a party of 6 or banquet) for my martinis that cost $24 plus he added 6$ for each martini for the choice of grey goose vodka, kidding me! 76$ for 2 drinks that wasn't even special, just a shaken vodka that tasted disgusting probably with house vodka anyway , it's not a mixology bar , I am sorry. I wouldn't pick this place in first place but all other places were packed, and now I know why this wasn't. I used to bartend and would leave a tip but this was an insult to me

Waiter was rude, eating and chewing when he approached our table....we couldn't understand him. He never asked us if we wanted bread, nor did he tell us about cheese plate coming out....justice bad experience all the way around.
Nice bar/restaurant inside The Luxury Collection Hotel. Friendly attentive service. Only stopped in for a drink, but was very busy at both dinner and breakfast.

Dabble is part of the Luxury Collection Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, but it’s easily one of the most disappointing restaurants I’ve ever visited that’s attached to a Marriott property.
To be fair, pre-dinner service at the bar was excellent — friendly, attentive, and exactly what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. Unfortunately, dinner didn’t come close to matching that standard.
Our party of five arrived for an early dinner — we were literally the only guests in the restaurant. We ordered a Caesar salad and shrimp cocktail to start, which were fine, but things went downhill fast. The burgers were decent, but the bucatini pasta came out cold. Even worse, one of the burgers didn’t arrive until the rest of us had already finished eating.
Totally understand that mistakes can happen, but when you’re charging $350 for five people, basic execution and service shouldn’t be optional. The servers seemed indifferent, AND the 18% automatic service charge only added insult to injury. We could have gotten better service at a Chili's!
The hotel itself is beautiful, but Dabble completely misses the mark. Overpriced, underwhelming, and absolutely not what you’d expect from a Luxury Collection property.

Dabble in Midtown Manhattan, under the masterful guidance of Executive Chef John Merry, is a culinary gem that left me speechless. From the moment we sat down, every dish was a revelation, showcasing creativity, precision, and flavors that lingered long after the meal.
The meal began with a delicate quail egg topped with caviar—a luxurious bite that balanced richness and subtlety perfectly. The beet salad was vibrant, fresh, and artfully composed, setting the stage for what was to come. The pesto pasta with pistachio was a delightful twist on a classic, with the nutty crunch elevating every twirl of pasta. The shrimp pasta, oh my, was a standout—the shrimp were perfectly cooked, tender yet firm, and seasoned with a masterful blend of herbs and a hint of citrus that brought out their natural sweetness without overpowering. It was executed with such finesse that I’m still dreaming about it.
The braised beef short ribs were fall-apart tender, rich, and deeply flavorful, while the New York strip steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and bursting with umami. Each dish was a testament to Chef Merry’s ability to coax maximum flavor from every ingredient.
But the true surprise of the night was the vegan chocolate mousse. I’m convinced there’s some kind of culinary wizardry at play because there’s no way this is vegan. It was decadently creamy, intensely chocolatey, and so indulgent that I double-checked with the server. This dessert alone is worth the visit.
The service was impeccable, the ambiance sophisticated yet warm, and every detail was thoughtfully curated. Dabble is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience in Manhattan. I can’t wait to return!

Had a business dinner here on May 28th and everything was incredible. The service, food and ambiance were perfect for this event. The restaurant was filled and would be equally perfect for a dinner with my spouse. The live music really was a special touch.

Inattentive service and bland food considering the price and enticing description provided
The place was dead on a Saturday night which should have been a giveaway. The menu is small and it was hard to find something I wanted. The butternut squash soup was served halfway through everyone else's meal and was so hot it was not edible. Led me to believe it was microwaved. The prices were outrageous. $30+ for a glass of wine or cocktail. Whole experience was frustrating and underwhelming.
Had breakfast here twice last week and was slightly disappointed. The food was slightly overpriced compared to the quality and the waiters were being unpleasant. After making a mistake in our order, we kindly asked them to bring what we ordered and they were being quite unpleasant about it and arguing with their customer. Having worked in the restaurant business myself, that is not the correct approach to take towards your customers. It also took some time to be noticed and served, we had to occasionally walk to the bar to make an order. Overall not a bad experience but some certain improvements could definitely be made, especially as the restaurant can also make an impression on the hotel.

Located on the first floor of the Luxury Collection hotel, Dabble is a great spot for a drink and lunch before hitting the city. Their cocktails are well-made, as is their food. I’d had the Red Carpet cocktail-a raspberry puree, blood orange, and vodka mix-and the Wagyu burger with caramelized onions.
