Can't comment on the ambiance because it's more of a stand in a large market than its own individual storefront. Service could be better. I wish they offered to heat up my spinach feta pastry for me... At least the pastry was still good cold and their chai latte with oat milk was tasty. Overall impression was meh. But they're in a great location, Essex Market, where I am a regular at.

Just had breakfast here, the bagel was delicious and given to me super quickly! They had a pretty long line but dealt with it efficiently. I keep coming back here bc the people are really kind and true New Yorkers.

The cashier was patient and awesome with my wife - she tends to be picky about her bagels but he hooked her up with a solid bagel breakfast sandwich at his recommendation :)I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quintessential NY bagel (as per the barista we asked earlier in the day). So good!

I was at the Clinton st location and it was around 4:30 on Thursday. I was a bid unhappy because an older lady there told me is too late to get a sandwich that they are closing soon. It was a shame because I really like their sandwiches.
