So disappointed in the new management- before Covid I bought my family gift cards here for a nice family dinner- the place shut down 2 months later so we couldn't use them come to find out they refuse to honor them now that they are back open. We are out alot of money and they dont even care. While the food is good I just cant respect this at all.

Great service and quality food. Atmosphere can get pretty loud and crowded. Get there early so you can enjoy the old fashion wall murals.

Old school steakhouse smack in the middle of wall street. good steaks and seafood overall. service is what it is. efficient but not perfect. prices are reasonable for the location.

Delmonico's is an iconic classic 5 star steak house and club. First it was built in the late 1800's with the decor to match. Second, the service is impeccable! Our server had the menu memorized down to exactly how each item is prepared. Ordering is an education in steak aging, grading and preparation. It is right in the heart of the east financial district in lower Manhattan. We were consulting for the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge at the time which is across the east river and to get there was a breeze. Ferry across 5 minutes, walk to restaurant 10 minutes. We split a 60 day aged 14 oz delmonico prime steak medium which came out perfect sliced and on 2 plates, along with perfectly browned mushrooms, fried shallots and heirloom tomato first course. One of the best steaks I've had and I have had alot!Downstairs there is a club of sorts. Kind of like a smokers lounge with all the best spirits out there. Cigar smoking... FYI. Pictures lined the walls of famous people from all areas of life. I felt like I was back in the prohibition Era because of the dates on the pictures. This area was hidden back then where traders could come to gamble and drink.I highly recommend this joint. Definitely make reservations and jacket and tie are expected but not required. This will set you back $300 for 2 but is well worth it. Definitely use GPS because there is not really a sign just a door at the corner of a triangle shaped building.

We headed for this place on the walk down from the 'Friends experience' and Brooklyn ferry. We chose it because of the good reviews and weren't disappointed. They seated is immediately, and food and service was quick but we were not hurried and felt it was a lovely relaxed lunch. Very, very surprised at prices as didn't know what to expect (although the menu is available online). 3 pizzas, 2 large glasses of red wine and a couple of soft drinks, and water - plus what I think was a complementary sweet treat at the end and all for 86$. Will definitely go back if and when we come back to New York.

A friend took me here for a killer steak. He knew I had prepared thousands of steaks for his catering business and rarely had a complaint. I noticed a certain dryness to this steak and I don't really get it since the plate looked plenty juicy. I found myself drinking extra water while eating it and I finished my glass before I was half done. I then waited a bit for a waiter to pass by, requesting more water. It took a while to receive the water and the steak seemed even drier by then. It's funny, but I didn't enjoy the steak at Peter Luger's that much either and it cost me $125. Not sure why both of these places seemed like a letdown, but I do know the New York Strips I cooked tasted fantastic with a dash of Maui Mountain marinade and a sprinkle of Montreal and the only complaint I ever got was from someone who ordered it medium rare and bloody. I delivered it as ordered but they thought it was a bit colder than expected. It was placed on a warm dish but received less than five minutes on the grill. I'm guessing the caterer had not removed them from the freezer in time to let them reach room temperature. So, anyway, I cooked it a couple minutes longer for them and they still weren't that happy. Next time, I'm gonna let them kill the cow themselves. I also likely won't be returning to these establishments as I live in CT and make out just fine when I do the cooking. Thanks anyway.

Outstanding food, superb service, beautiful restaurant and good facilities. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant for that special occasion. Fine dining at it's very best.

Opened in 1827, arguably the first true American restaurant and first with à la carte ordering. Claims to have invented Eggs Benedict, Baked Alaska, and Lobster Newburg. Fancy and expensive.

We go here primarily for meat when it's a special meal, but it's great for a lot of specialty items too: their house made hummus is to die for, their wine selection is great, and their customer service is top notch (Brian is so nice and skillful). We love them.

In NYC for a convention and business meetings. Went out for a great Steak with a colleague and Delmonico's definitely did not disappoint. I usually will order a dry aged ribeye when I see it on the menu. But this is Delmonico's and of course I ordered the "Delmonico", it was as perfect in texture, temperature, flavor, and portion size! They have other dry aged options, but this Delmonico was a wonderful Ribeye great marbeling and trimmed nicely ... Absolutely Great! Perfect char crust. (yes I ate the entire steak, no doggy bags) The service was super, the wait staff team are extremely professional and attentive, literally anticipating our next request! Amazing wine list...I will definitely be back! (Great value, I have spent more for steaks that were not nearly as good!)

My daughter and I stopped in for a quick bite and loved the service and the food! We ordered burrata and prociutto, steak frites, and the veal pasta. It was all delicious. We didn’t have reservations and I was nervous we’d be turned away, but they welcomed us with open arms! Would definitely go back.

They overcooked my wagyu steak. That is a sin. The service was horrible. I felt like a second class citizen yet paid the same price as everyone else. You are the oldest establishment but not the only establishment. People spend $300+ on a meal, don't make them feel like they don't belong. I am all about tradition but tradition is about good experiences not keeping the old bad ways. Please do better for the next people.

Best steak the mash potatoes are to die for, like what and how are they so good. I can't even still thinking about those potatoes.
