Not one order has been delivered on time, last order was due last Sunday and still not here.
I received ingredients that were clearly spoiled, including a pepper that contained live worms. I contacted customer service immediately and paused my subscription while waiting for a response, which took several days.
When I finally heard back, the proposed resolution was a $1.50 credit toward a future order—an amount that felt dismissive given the severity of the issue. At that point, I chose to cancel my subscription entirely.
My subscription was paused through Saturday, February 7. I cancelled on Friday, February 6, yet I was still charged for another box for the next week. There is no justification for charging an order that was both paused and cancelled.
It has now been six days since I first contacted customer service. I cancelled immediately after their delayed response, and I am still being charged due to their lack of communication. I have received no further assistance to resolve this.
Between the unsafe ingredient quality and the extremely poor customer service, this was an all-around terrible experience.
Great variety of meals, easy to cook prepare amd tasty.
Don’t use this meal kit service. Predatory billing practices, low quality food.
The first week was okay. The second week I received spoiled chicken. I canceled but still have to pay for next week which is more chicken meals that I did not choose and cannot change. Lots of wasted money.
Love how simple and flavorful the recipes are.
Every interaction has been awful. I signed up, picked my meals and then get an email I'm getting completely different meals than i picked. Not only that but i selected vegetarian and they changed my meals to meat meals. I contact consumer service and they tell me they cancelled the box and i can reorder but it'll come days later, i had just ordered the first box 5 mins prior. I cancelled the whole box. Then a week later they try to charge me again, i deactivate the account and get a confirmation email. The next day a charge under a different name i had to google to find out it was dinnerly. I contact them and they ask if i also want to cancel the next box, excuse me? I have an email confirming deactivation. This is a very clear violation of the FTC and not legal. This company is scammy and absolutely knows exactly what they are doing. I would not recommend them to anyone ever.
I ordered 2 dishes. Salmon and tilapia. I didnt get my tilapia. Not sure whether I will get a refund on that, I did send an email to them. Nothing has happened yet.
I absolutely love this program! Meals are easy to cook, and the portion sizes are perfect.
However, as good as it all is, the potatoes have been almost rotten when I received them.
That would be my only complaint, I am recommending this to everyone!
Refusal to give money back when canceled in the appropriate amount of time after reading custom dissatisfaction.
Refused the delivery and still haven’t seen the charge reversed. Buy with a credit card so it’s easier to dispute, because they won’t be giving your money back without a fight.

If I could do zero stars I would. Had this service for 4 weeks and had rotten ingredients, missing items and late delivery every single week. I threw away more food every week than food that was still edible. Stay far, far away. No matter the value, this service is not worth it.
I have the stuff to make recipes but no cards and can't find the recipes I don't even know what it is for
Three weeks in, our experience has been hit or miss. Our family is vegetarian. Our first week recipes were terrific with plentiful portions. On our second week, we were missing most ingredients to one meal. The company gave us a credit. Another, the size of the fresh ingredients (lemon and sweet potatoes) was too small to fulfill the quantities called for in the recipe. Third week’s recipes have not been as good so far. My understanding is Dinnerly is one of the most reasonable meal programs in terms of cost. Three meals a week for a family of four comes out to about $70 - $90 a week. I love the ease of the program and the cooking has been relatively quick and simple, but I’m not sure whether we’ll be sticking with Dinnerly in the long run.
We have had a great experience with Dinnerly! The food is filling and thr instructions are clear. I really like how you can customize recipes to some extent.
I am guessing it's okay because I received the wrong recipe card for one of my meals. :/
