After not even receiving first delivery I immediately requested a refund and cancelled my account. I was charged again for a 2nd week. Verified my account was cancelled and sent a 2nd email. At this point I'm out over $90 and the 2nd week's box that was supposed to be delivered on Monday showed up Wednesday evening. Luke warm meat. Sent yet another email explaining the situation requesting a refund. I finally get a reply...confirming my account was cancelled but I was locked in for a 3rd box. I CANCELLED after the first box and only got confirmation after a 2nd box was delivered?! With a 3rd box comes yet another $46.95 charge. And then today I get an email from dinnerly stating they will refund me $23 for first box and $46.95 for second box and I also have a 3rd pending charge. I've disputed the charges with my bank because dinnerly customer service is absolute garbage!!

Made an account, didn’t even put anything in my cart yet, get an email stating my box was on its way, all food I wouldn’t eat. Emailed and called to cancel it, just kept getting an automated response they were receiving a high amount of emails, they would get back to me soon. It’s been 2 weeks they never did. Box arrived already thawed, and the vegetables were not fresh and went bad 2 in the fridge. Seems like a scam to me.

I have enjoyed Dinnerly regularly over the past couple of years, but recently got a box a day late with melted ice packs and warm dairy & meat products, making it unsafe to eat and I was unable to prepare any of the meals. Customer service has been terrible and 2 weeks later I still haven’t gotten a personal response or any sort of credit (except a generic “sorry for the inconvenience here’s 11.99 while you wait for a response” email.) I can’t get through on the phone and emails are only getting automated responses. The product used to be a good value, but this is ridiculous.

I love this service. It doesn’t require special equipment, plus all meals include any unique ingredients you need (gyro spice, anyone?) so you don’t have to hunt for things at the store. There is so much variety in the offerings that I personally have a difficult time narrowing down my weekly choices! Anyone can make these meals in any kind of kitchen, and there are plenty of choices for everyone, even those who eat gluten free food. I only gave it four stars because there’s been a few glitches with some items I’ve received, but it’s easy to contact Dinnerly to let them know if there’s any kind of problem, and I have confidence they pay attention to any issues. And yes, I save money, sometimes even skipping weekly grocery shopping trips, because everything I need for the week is right at home.

First off I think its a ripoff that you cant see what meals they offer without putting in a credit card.
Then Dinnerly charged me for a box that never arrived. Delivery was delayed multiple times and then the company claims the package was “delivered,” even though the FedEx tracking number shows it never left the facility. I checked with all my neighbors — nothing. Their customer service is awful: theres no way to reach a real person by phone, and emails either go unanswered or get generic automated replies. They sent me an $11.99 credit and a $15 credit to say sorry for no response yet. Still no refund. I have filed a complaint with BBB.
Terrible experience — I would never recommend this company.

My husband is in the kitchen preparing diner. I pick the recipe for and placed pull the products. We are going dancing tonight and I will clean the kitchen after breakfast. I am his carepartner, we run 20 hours of dialysis.
After years of finding recept making grocery list, and wasting money on impulse buying, Dinnerly early is my friend 🧡 and the first month I lost 10 pounds. Balanced meals! And proper proportions. And an apple will settle craving.

Terrible first box arrived 3 days late, it was wet, damaged and omitting a rancid odor. Customer service has been lackluster at best. Requested a cancellation of the second box but that didn’t happen. The items in the second box were poor quality, all the tomatoes were mushy and ground lamb did not taste right. 3 weeks later my issue is still not resolved.

Dinnerly meals are tasty and prep instructions are easy to follow, for the most part. We have received about three meals that just were not good tasting - dry and bland in each case.
Delivery is inconsistent- we didn’t get our 9/2 box until 9/8, our 9/8 box on 9/9. This causes issues with our planned meal dates.
Several times, the vegetables have gone bad within 24 hours (Dinnerly DID credit us).
Our last box contained our three recipe cards but the ingredients for only two of the meals.
We will likely be canceling this service.

I have been using Dinnerly for YEARS with no issues, or very mild ones up to this point anyway. However, last week my box arrived 4 days late. All of the ice packs were melted, the food had moisture inside the packaging, it was all warm, and I discovered that it was all rotten after opening one up.

I contacted support, but never got a reply. I opened a 2nd ticket for it, selecting that it was a delivery issue. Well, AI handled that problem, because the tracking never updated, so it automatically credited me the cost of the box. Well, I’m not thrilled that there was no human support at all, but glad there was a resolution.

Now, bring us to this week. My box arrived late again, but just by 1 day, roughly 30-34 hours late! Not only was it late again, but I ordered 6 of my favorite meal, and there was only 1 in there. Yes, I was missing 5 entire meals! I’ve opened 4 support tickets, well as emailed them regarding the issue. So far, it’s been over 24 hours, the only thing I’ve received are the automated emails, no humans are aware of my issue, to my knowledge. AI did not refund me this time, I’d imagine for 1 of 2 reasons, but possibly both! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Reason 1: 34 hours isn’t late enough for them to consider it to be late, according to their automated system. 🤔 🤷🏻‍♂️ I have no idea, just a thought. 💭
Reason 2: The fact that I just got a full refund, maybe it triggered further review of it, to be sure I’m not trying to take advantage of them. Well, after several years of using their services, I’m beyond disappointed with how they’re handling this. It’s been over 24 hours since I put in 4 tickets, yet they have NOT reached out.

Also, due to my last box being all wrong, I took pics & a vid of me getting into the box & going through it all. I wanted to cover my bases & I uploaded every pic & sent it in to them! The pics even included some damaged packaging too! I would’ve sent the video too, but there was no option for that. I have it still, in case there’s a way for me to send it to them! Oh yeah, there were random lemons & seasoning packets in there too, of which, none had anything to do with what I had ordered!

They seriously need to get better QC & customer support asap! They’ve left a loyal customer of several years (me) shopping around for a different service to use instead. This is beyond frustrating. I was checking my email to see if they got back to me, to which they did not get back to me about my issue, but they did send me an email about leaving a review, so it was a perfect little reminder to leave a negative review that’s honest & what I’m having to deal with right now, regarding Dinnerly!
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I went on a site that made me gove information before looking a the menu, a package was sent out that i did not order, i called after i realized what was going on, and canceled.. They sent another.. together it was $100 . It set out all day because i was not aware of food coming because i dod not order and then canceled..beware.
