PSA: they will auto-suggest tips on top of gratuity and tax, calculated including gratuity and tax. Super cheesy.

Well known kbbq spot near ktown offering pricey, but delicious marinated meats, casseroles and more. Started with half a dozen banchan, there is a variety of meat set options for the table to choose from or a la carte.
The items are cooked by staff so the usual designated kbbq chef can relax and eat😆. Seating is a bit cramped, and can be an issue for people with accessibility problems. Blue handball is used to hold the burner controls, very random.

Good service, delicious wine, I loved the beef tongue! A little bit loud, but it’s a good vibe.

There are many choices in K-town, and you can only do worse. We had reservations for 6, one cancellation, and they worked with us, never penalizing (as stated on their website). All staff we interacted with were friendly and professional- casually, telling me they're at the top of the game. Food's amazing, seating is quirky (don't bring grandma, unless she does pilates or yoga lol).

Literally some of the best meat I’ve had! All the sides were so good too, and the staff were really friendly.
Scammy! The Server didn't mention there is a 20% gratuity already included. The receipt suggests, at the bottom, additional tip amounts, even though gratituity is already included. This feels SCAMMY!

Perfect place for lunch in Ktown, highly recommend the grilled salted mackerel, beef ribs soup and chicken stew. They also offer different banchan each time. The space has slightly dim lighting with a small bar area. The meat quality is good and portions are generous.

My family and I are from out of town, and had dinner at Dons Bogam in March 2023 and December 2025. We enjoyed it very much both times. The LA Galbi is absolutely delicious and my husband and daughter enjoyed their vegetarian dishes, including buchu-gochu pageon and dubu beoseot (dolsot bibimbap). Very nice atmosphere and service.

Not bad the dishes are a bit basic, I liked the soup. Huge portion and strong for aperol spritz
Quiet atmosphere. Service was prompt and responsive to our requests. Beef quality was excellent. Side dishes were tasty. Get the bacon steamed egg side!

At Nubiani (half a block away) you eat better, for less money, and they even give you a free dessert.
The platter came without the usual Korean stew and egg, and on top of that they didn’t bring the rice, which was the only thing that was actually included in the platter besides the side dishes — we had to ask for it halfway through dinner.
Once you’re done eating, they completely forget about you — good luck trying to get the check.
To make matters worse, a 25% tip is automatically added and you’re not allowed to change it.
The meat itself is good, but I’d recommend going somewhere else where you get more (and better) food for the same price.
