Excellent quality fish. I had the oysters and scallops both were very delicious and fresh. Someone else said this before but the store did not smell fishy at all which speaks to the quality. We also tried the avocado salad which amazing! The owner is a very sweet person who made my day!

On behalf of The Center for the Women of New York, I want to extend a huge thank you to Dorian's Seafood for their fantastic contribution to our Taste of the World at Fort Totten gala.
They generously donated trays of their shrimp cocktail, which were an absolute showstopper. The shrimp were incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and jumbo sized. The cocktail sauce had the ideal zesty kick that complemented the sweet shrimp beautifully. The platters were polished off quickly by our guests, which is the highest compliment of all.
It is because of beloved community businesses like Dorian's Seafood that we are able to successfully support the women of New York. Their commitment to giving back is deeply appreciated and truly makes a difference. This kind of local generosity is why I am passionate about supporting businesses that care.

I finally had a chance to stop by this store. The first thing that surprised me is the place didn’t smell at all. You wouldn’t even know there was fresh fish out. They have a good selection of fish and sauces. The prices are a bit higher, but the quality of fish is excellent. It tastes like the fish came out of the ocean that day. The staff is nice and helpful too. Glad to have this place in the neighborhood.

The shop smelled clean and all the fish looked very fresh, although I do wish they had a wider selection available. I'd imagine I could order anything I want, but for just dropping in, pretty average line up.

Is it possible to eat well in NYC for under 10 bucks? Yes! Dorians fish fry sandwich is the best $9 you'll spend in the city. The cod is super fresh and cooked to juuuust done. Tender and meaty. And oh man, that slaw. Looking forward to going back for some of their pre cooked fish entrees (not brave enough to cook fish in my phone booth).
