My 12 year old daughter and my mom and I were in NYC for the weekend. We had made reservations to go to another restaurant months ago and decided we were exhausted after the day and that we wanted to go to Dos Caminos which was at the bottom of our hotel. Dos Caminos was able to get us a reservation about twenty minutes from when we called (on a Saturday night in Times Square). When we arrived, we were seated right away even though the place was packed because it was right before 8pm shows. Our waiter, Daniel, greeted us to take our drink order. You could tell they were insanely busy but he had a smile the whole time, he was friendly, he joked around (genuinely) and was able to accommodate all of our needs. Our food came out right away and it was delicious. Everything we ordered was great! You must order the churros. My daughter loved them!!We will definitely be back, and would ask for Daniel. He was amazing!!

Daniel our server was great! Food was pretty good. Portions are a little small for the price but it is New York so expect a higher bill

My poached egg was overcooked. Potatoes seems like it’s been left out and recooked for too long. Apart from it’s being smacked in the heart of Times Square. I will not return again. Junior’s Diner which is a short walk from them is much better. At least the eggs are runny and bacon slices are decent

The food is OK. Maybe fine for tourists, but not that great for a restaurant that is essentially on Times Square. And, associated with the W Hotel - doesn't do either brand any favors. There are much better taco spots.

Maybe we are on the wrong coast.... As an Italian...I consider this Mexican to be on par with fast food or maybe worse... But with NY prices.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but if I can save a poor soul from spending their hard earned money here, then please walk away; the food tastes like it’s been reheated and it looks extremely unappetizing, the service was poor at best and everyone just seemed so uninterested. You’re better off buying a cold turkey sandwich from Walgreens

Honestly don’t do the mistake to go in there, everyone is rude and the food sucks.

Great place to go before a Broadway show. Reasonable prices, especially for a group. Quick and efficient service and very used to getting people out in time for their show. The food is fine. The full variety of dishes served in a Mexican restaurant and a number of shareable tasty dishes.

My Husband and I came here on a business trip. We ate here and the food was so good I had to go back a second time, it did not disappoint. I had the burrito and corn bread. It was so good and the corn bread was over the top. I was seated downstairs it was nice warm and a real cozy atmosphere, while outside was cold. The service was the best, friendly and prompt. I can't say enough about the restaurant and service.

My entire experience at Dos Caminos would have been 0 stars had it not been for our server Winston. He was fabulous. Other than that I was HIGHLY disappointed. The hostess sat us in an area where near the entrance where there was serious cold wind from the opening and closing of the front door. We asked the hostess to move us , and because my friend and myself wanted seats with backs for support, we were told that we could NOT move. I asked if we could transferred downstairs , where we would be free from the cold, but was told no.A man sitting at the next table requested the same thing and was refused. When the table that was furthest from the door emptied WE MOVED OURSELVES as the hostess was not being proactive and seemed to be more interested in talking to other staff members than address our request. I actually started to pound my hand on the table to make the point that the customer was was not being serviced correctly. The manger was alerted and by that time our food was cold ; so she re-fired it.Winston the server was noticeably frustrated by the inefficiency of the hostess to help resolve the issue. HE WAS WONDERFUL.Other than Winston , customer service sucked, the food was bland at best.I would highly recommend that you stay clear of Dos Caminos. Not worth the time and/or money.
