So tiny and cute. My husband missed Albanian food so we checked it out and I had a huge orata (a fish I had in Albania on the beach) and he had ferges. It hit the spot for him. I wanted to try kashkeval but I was full.They had good espresso. The owner was super hospitable and gave us a lot of Albanian suggestions in New York.
Highly recommend going to Dua Kafe if you are looking for authentic Albanian food (confirmed by my Albanian friend lol). The space is small but welcoming and comfortable, decorated very nicely with Christmas lights and picture frames of celebrities that have been there. Our waiter was so kind and gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. Food wait time was slightly longer than normal, but completely worth it because you know they were making it fresh. The food was great, the owner was incredibly nice, and the ambience really made our dinner feel special. I’d recommend anyone who wants to try good food to come here and try some of their unique dishes!
