Wow I can’t believe this. I’ve been eating chicken wings my whole life and this is the first time I got chicken wings with feathers and when I requested a refund he toldme it’s normal. I never even got my money back and now I have to talk to my credit card company regarding some feathers.There’s really not much to say about this situation I never even wanted to take it this far but why not just be nice and give the customers money back if I never ate the food and once I dropped the food off why did they have to hide it??Then I get threatened that he’s call the cops on me and to leave the restaurant when I didn’t even get my money back. ??♂️?♂️.Thanks New East Garden ??

I was very pleased with their chicken and broccoli combination platter. Lots of tasty chicken slices in a spicy brown sauce with fresh broccoli and one of the best, non oily egg rolls I've had in awhile. In fact, they wrapped my egg roll in a napkin inside the wrapper. Nice touch! The only weak spot was the pork fried rice which was a little on the bland side, although I liked the large-ish pieces of pork. Overall I enjoyed my first takeout meal and will definitely be back for more. Note that this is ONLY takeout. There are only a few stools while you wait.

The food is good but sadly because of inflation the prices have become much higher. Chefs quickly make food and the only complaint is how small the restaurant itself is, but that cannot be helped.

Ordered for the first time. Everything was fairly bland. The chicken and broccoli wasn't too salty which I liked, but not very flavorful. The wonton soup was very bland. All and all this place was a miss for me.

The food is good but it’s forever to get a delivery,,;!.with all the charges stop definitely not worth I will be going to Asian 83 from now on!!My food finally arrived.. let me just say I will never order from them again I ordered pepper steak with onions all I got were peppers!! And I requested extra duck sauce and soy sauce!! Are you kidding me I got 2!!! This place is nasty probably infected with rars
Food was terrible. All of it. I almost never write reviews but people need to stay away from this place. The shrimp fried rice was clumpy, bland and just awful. Sesame chicken was cold and DRY, read that again. The French fries were undercooked and they send you 3 wings. I had to put salt and pepper on everything (I'm at work on a lunch break I had no choice). My coworker and I regretted immediately ordering from here. Stay away.

Terrific take-out/delivery place. The delicious food is a throwback to old-school Cantonese-American cuisine -- egg foo young, chow mein, fried rice, wonton soup, etc. They even do combination plates. The comfort food of my childhood. The food is quick, delicious and well priced. The service is good too.

I really don't get the low rating because I've been ordering delivery from New East Garden for 2 years and not only do they have the best prices for Chinese food in the UES, but the quality is really good too! My food always comes hot, they ALWAYS follow my instructions (sometimes I like to get light sauce, sauce on the side, extra spicy, snow peas only, etc). Delivery is lightning fast but do realize this may be due proximity to the restaurant itself. All in all, I promise I'm very picky with my to-go Chinese spots and really have to vouch for them.

This has become our go-to Chinese takeout place during the last year and it hits the spot every time! They’re fast, consistent, and the staff are some of the nicest people. Never have had any issues with our orders and it’s a lot of food for the price.
