It's been 8 years since my last visit and everything was as good as ever! The food is just outstanding and the team there are just brilliant. My No.1 eating place in Manhattan!

Love it there. I discovered the shop a few years ago and go here every time for a pastrami sandwich and egg cream. Not overcrowded but reasonable prices.

Reuben sandwiches were my favorite before becoming vegetarian, and I felt very deprived
... until today! Running errands in the neighborhood, looking for a quick lunch, I discovered the Shop. Sat at the counter, browsed the menu in search of veg options... Broccoli Reuben! Ordered it of course with some macaroni salad. Not the same, yet delicious. Served with a lone pickle.
On the expensive side -$18.50 + $6.
Great atmosphere and extra friendly service.

had a tuna melt ($18.59 before i was prompted for a tip) to go. took 10-15 mins. figured it would be an oversized, tasty sandwich for the price + high reviews. the sandwich was small (see picture), and very average. venue + ambiance is definitely the draw. if you want to pay a premium for a mediocre sandwich in a cute venue, stop by. if not, definitely pass on Eisenberg’s.

My new go-to for pastrami. As good or better than Katz's but no fuss: no tourists, no multiple lines, no weird ticket and checkout situation.

Plus, you have the option of less or more meat and the bigger option is less expensive than Katz's.

The vibe of the places is cute and feels homey. The staff is attentive and you don’t have to wait much to get your order. The food is very good and the price is fair for what you get. The way their fries are is a nice touch.

Excellent pastrami sandwich, in a typical place, rare in NY. However +$18 per sandwich… Still worth doing, refreshing!

Honestly, it’s hard to find a good deli near Madison Square Park, but New York/Jewish style food is my comfort meal. Don’t think it is kosher here, but we got a seat for two during lunch rush with no wait, had an amazing kinish, two sandwiches, insanely quick service and the best fried home fries I’ve ever had (not to be confused with normal home fries haha). The vibes in this restaurant are exactly what I want and I will definitely be coming back for third, fourth, and fifth times!

The pastrami is good but has little flavor, compared to the one at Katz Deli. If you don't want to travel to Katz you can try it there. It is also more economical.

It’s not Eisenberg’s, it’s S&P and it’s veryyyy expensive. The menu online is wrong because it’s from Eisenberg’s not S&P. They don’t have brisket. Cherry like Ricky $5, matzo ball soup, $8 or 9, just very expensive but good food. Carrot cake is excellent. Very crowded inside but bar seating is fun.

Reminiscent of old times. Price-worthy milkshake pistachio and super delicious pastrami sandwich of the traditional style.

Lots of good options to choose from, not a bad place to get lunch. Long lines can be a pretty short wait depending but it’s also very crowded and small.
