We had a takeaway of those pastrami sandwiches and tuna salad which were awesome, so we ordered more after we finished the first batch.

We waited like 15-20 minutes in lunch time.

Madison Square park is 2 minutes away with some public chairs and tables.

Got the pastrami sandwich, it was a solid sandwich, would definitely recommend it. The peppers added a delicious kick.

I urged neighbors to try this place. The food was cooked to proper doneness. The recommendations were surprisingly accurate!! Every person working here treats customers with kindness and welcome. I'm looking forward to visiting again shortly.

A classic sandwich location - I somehow just cant get used to the smell indoors

Where New Yorker Goes

Hungry and in the area, I decided to stop by. It was packed on a Friday around early lunchtime.
Here’s how it works: when there are no seats available, you stand by the wall and wait until someone leaves. It’s a tiny space, so you’re basically standing right behind someone’s seat. I ve noticed most visitors came in pairs, though a few came alone.

An old time NYC classic! Love their pastrami reuben sandwich! If you ask me what will be my last meal... that will be it!

Had the best lunch ever here. Salad with a scoop of chicken salad, the Ruben and fries. All were 10/10.

$32 for two minuscule tuna sandwiches and tiny soggy pickles that had sand or gravel in them

Old school deli in midtown-ish area with limited seating at the counter and in the back. Good old-fashioned Jewish deli like I remember from the 80’s.

An old-school lunch counter style Sandwich shop near the Flat Iron Building. Try the burgers and corned beef or pastrami.
