El Cantinero was a cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere, where staff were friendly and made you feel at home. The food was delicious, with a standout green sauce and a must-try Passion Frizada with Tajin. Enjoy a wonderful margarita, whether you're in the mood for a chill downstairs atmosphere with Spanish music or a fun upstairs spot for dancing and happy hour specials. The restaurant had low sodium options and served generous sides with entrees, including fried favorites like chimichangas and Taco Salad. Unfortunately, it closed its doors on December 1, 2024.
