The grilled pork chops are so deliciously cooked and juicy. And the tostones are addicting

Amazing and cheap food (our bill was under $30 for 2 ppl), it would be 5 stars if it weren't for the NASTY attitude our waitress had towards us. She gave my friend and i a disgusted look when we tried speaking to her in Spanish (it's our first language). Straight up ignored us when we tried to show any politeness towards her. Only reason why service is at one star is because out food came out in a quick and timely manner.

Last night I placed a food order with a Spanish restaurant El Nuevo Carribeno for myself my sons and 86 year old mom. After living in this community for over 6 decades and the restaurant being in business for many years have never complained about the quality of the food untill last night when I find mouse droppings in a cup of white rice. I was so angry because it’s enough how expensive their food is but to have mice droppings ? I had no choice but got it a bad review files gormsl complaint with the department of health and report this restaurant . For those who are not aware mice or rodent droppings carry viruses , can cause a person to be extremly ill or require hospitalization for anyone especeslly to the young and elderly. I care about the community I live with and its residents so I will comity to having this restaurant reported to get cleaned up for the sake of the community . Truly disappointed and disgusted . I don’t know who the owner is but the man I spoke to regarding a catered thanksgiving dinner was extremly rude and haggled me for more money the mash potatoes were horrible last time I ordered a mogonho with pernir there was no penir . This place needs to shut down get cleaned up and get a new chef . Their hospitality is truly lacking . They won’t be getting g my money anymore if people want to eat mice poo go right ahead but remember I put it on Google review

The food is always delicious but the younger Spanish waitress was very rude and gave an attitude when she had to wipe down the dirty table so me and my family could sit down.

I went there today as I have since this establishment opened in the company of several community Leaders, one is a Reverend. We ordered our food. Two of us ordered the sancocho which was more of a soup with left over meats, poorly cooked, mixed with carrots, a potato, broth was acidic, sour. We requested to speak with the manager who rudely said that the lemon which I used for my water was what caused the taste. He assumed that I squeezed the lemon over the nasty soup. He went further on to antagonize the whole table in saying that he feels bad for the community having us as Leaders. His tone was arrogant, rude, disrespectful to our party and other people there. I asked his name. He refused then responded with a Danny. He pretty much treated our whole party poorly. He was then addressed by a chef, part of our party, restaurant owner. He continued to be aggressive in tone and pretty much not caring. I will not support this establishment ever again and urge you all not to support it either. Everyone has a right to enjoy a meal and not be treated poorly. This restaurant needs hospitality training , as well as upgrading to a better chef, quality of food.

My friend used to live in New York in East Harlem, and she moved to California. She wanted Spanish food and she remembered this place. We decided to go. The place looked different from back in the days. They have booth as seating. The place decorations were nice. They have a bar if you want a drink. The food continues to be the star for this location.

I have eaten at this restaurant and ordered takeout as well, but I will never order from them again. Last evening I placed an order via Seamless for this restaurant. Over an hour went by after I placed my order and my food was nowhere to be seen. I called Seamless and informed them and they placed me on hold while they contacted the restaurant. When Seamless returned to the line they told me the restaurant informed them the order had just left the restaurant (one hour later). I decided to wait. However, another 30 minutes went by and still no food. I called the restaurant myself and they told me that their Seamless connection wasn't working so my order never came in. This is not what they told the people from Seamless. The person I spoke to said they would "check" and hung up on me. When I called back I had apparently been blocked from calling because a message came on saying my call couldn't be completed. It's obvious they had turned on some kind of "Do Not Disturb" feature. This behavior is unacceptable. They took my money but didn't want to deliver my food. I called Seamless again and told them what happened. I demanded a refund. Seamless said they would issue the refund. Don't do business with this restaurant. They are unprofessional not to mention liars. I am so disappointed because I did like their food.
