We are not seen to straight way to our table.I requested argrulla, instead was given lettuce plunked in a bowl. It appear they did not know what it was. I canceled my order. The service was very poor! The sandwich l had was over priced. My friend and l could not leave the restaurant quick enough. This was on a Saturday late afternoon.

Pork chop was flavorful. The side dish that comes with the pork chop compliments the pork chop really well.

Great tasting food, excellent service, and warm ambiance. The brass was great, simply addictive. The oysters were fresh, flavorful, and tiny, also expensive. All the cooked food was good, but nothing kept me wanting more. I had high expectations for the brisket, but it was slightly dry. The service was very friendly, and always ready to help.

When I first entered, I thought the menu seemed a little bit lacking, but then realized that it is because they put such pride into the quality of the food they serve. The Dover soul I had was exceptional, every bite was special, and the wine it was paired with was perfect. Jeremy, the general manager, attentive to all of the customers, while his staff perform their jobs admirably. I learned at the end of my meal, but the kind gentleman sharing a meal at a nearby table was the owner. This is a great neighborhood restaurants that also attracts those coming into town on a periodic basis. I’ll be back!

What a disappointment! The only good part was the sommelier. We actually left after drinking our wines. Didn't get a server until 20 minutes after we were seated. When the server showed up, the restaurant was already out of two of the night's entree's. We asked to see a wine list and the manager was surprised. When the server finally came by, we said we were unhappy with service and selection, we felt ignored and needed a check. A large party was extremely loud and we were told they ate the last of the entrees. The manager never apologized or even said anything to us in response. There are too many outstanding restaurants in NYC to go back to this one.

From the beautiful plants inside and outside the store, one would assume this is place is a little pricey. And that assumption would be right! This place is ideal if you want overpriced organic food items as this is roughly half of the selection. Organic food does cost more than nonorganic items, however, this market exceeds even those limits. I did not end up buying anything as I did not budget for such a price. Despite the high priced food, I will say that all of the workers at the store did seen genuinely happy to be there. So, there is that.

Overpriced groceries that you can easily find elsewhere, all around town, for a lot less than you'll pay here. Always seems devoid of customers and totally lacking in sophistication.

We can’t say enough about Eli’s Table and their wonderful service by Jerryd! I ordered the chicken and my husband had the sirloin. It was perfection! So good! Thank you for making our experience here in Charleston top notch!

Prices are so high! But the quality doesn't seem to justify the premium. Not sure how this place is in business

Overpriced food. Overpriced flowers. The lady in the flower shop is awful and could not care less about customers. Unbelievable.

Amongst the great wonders of the modern world is how this huge store can afford to pay rent when everything is exorbitantly (even ridiculously) overpriced and the place is basically empty. How is this possible? The square footage is immense, the inventory and variety enormous and top quality, how does this place survive?Inexplicable!

Great for a TINY treat, but too expensive for all your grocery needs. Yes, zabar's is very pricey, but I find it wonderful for small treats or a little special occasion gift. They had a sandwich section, a bakery, an ice cream bar, a wine store and a flower shops. My favorite thing to get there as an end-of-week treat is the rustic apple pie. Theirs is actually the best applie pie in Manhattan, as far as I'm concerned. The almond croissants are also sensational.
